Reizo just crossed his arms as he watched the ravens go to work on the man, how pitiful. This was nothing. This man might as well be the definition of fodder. "Heh. It seems that not all the tailed beasts are skilled shinobi... this man is nothing." Obviously, Reizo was biding his time, waiting until the man was nice and skinless.
The girl shook her head violently at the bird, "No! The only way to remove the seal is to kill him... but..." She fell silent and looked at the ground with little enthusiasm. "I don't want to be all by myself... that's worse then any pain he could give me..." She said solemnly.

Karasu also watched her birds work at the monster's feet, moving up his legs. He knew if his lips weren't burned shut, he would be wailing. "Reizo," she began slowly, "This pathetic excuse for a Jinchuriki is not worth our time.." she sheathed her katana, no longer needing it, really. "But to kill him now would be an act of mercy," she looked at him, "What should we do?"
"Hmm..." The black raven said, "Well, Karasu-chan and Reizo came here to do just that, and I have a feeling they will succeed in their task at hand.. However..." The rather large bird looked down and away, "I cannot help you, child. Knowing those two, they would not allow your company. Maybe there is a nearby village?"

Reizo lifted an eyebrow and thought to himself. He walked over to the beast and lifted a foot and dropped it down on his skinned ankle, another bone cracking sound echoing out from his leg. The beast squirmed in pain, but Reizo silenced him with another stomp on his his other leg's knee. Reizo gave him a bored expression and then turned around, looking at Karasu, "Mm... Maybe just let him slowly bleed out so he can endure all this until he dies? We can leave in the mean time... he isn't going any where..."
The girl looked up at the bird, taking her gaze off the ground for a moment, "No... I asked the white haired women to kill him outside so I could at least stay here afterwards..." She pulled her knees up to her chest and looked at the bird with moderate interest. "It's okay though birdy... I'll be fine..."

Karasu thought for a moment, staring at both of his skinned, broken legs. The ravens were still working at him. Those wounds won't ever heal. She shrugged, and leaned against a nearby tree, watching him struggle. In the excitement of the torture, she'd forgotten about Kurai. Only now was she remembering. She felt a pang of guilt for forgetting him so suddenly.. Her gaze went to the ground, for only a moment. "I'm going to find Kurai. You do with this demon what you would like." Without anything more, she turned and headed for the cave.
Kurai was a little sad, he wanted to help this girl. "But," he said, sounding a little worried, "You said being alone is awfully painful, didn't you? You wouldn't be safe here in such an isolated place.." He knew if he had lips, he would have smiled at how the girl called him "birdy." That was a new one. Instead, he tilted his head. "Is there really no where you could go?"

Reizo turned his head as his partner began to leave. How unfortunate, he had been having a good time. Once she was gone he place a hand on his side and looked at the skinned, mutilated, former man-beast. It wasn't that great to begin with, now it was just... He raised a bored foot and brought it down on a freshly skinned part of the man's upper torso. Reizo shuddered as he heard the man's collar bone snap.
The girl just stared at the bird, she did not answer him, she felt she should be quiet. She had a feeling that at this moment, she was safer in the shadows then she was in the light. Then she heard the footsteps, light footsteps coming from the mouth of the cave, she adverted her eyes from the raven and hide her face in her knees.

Karasu ducked as she entered the mouth of the cave. It was dark.. She stood to let her eyes adjust, still hearing the faint cries of the poor fool outside. She shook her head, and continued. She pulled her bangs out of her face to see in the dark better. She felt Kurai's Chakra nearby and made it in that direction. She maneuvered over the rocks and kneeled beside Kurai. She was hardly aware that the girl was still there. "Kurai," she said in a gentle voice, "What are you doing in--" She looked up, and saw the slumped figure of the girl. She was a little annoyed that she was caught off guard... showing kindness no less.. She sighed, and examined the girl. Karasu frowned. "Hey," she said, her voice not as gentle, but not firm, "Don't you have somewhere you need to be right about now?"
Kurai hopped toward Karasu and rejoined her. He climbed up her arm, and sat on her shoulder. He could feel the warmth of her face near his body. Kurai looked at the girl in silence, slightly shocked that Karasu hadn't reacted in violence.
