They had been air borne for many hours now. Finally; The continent of the Shinobi Nations was visible; in fact, they were about to go over land. He looked down and smiled, he had calculated right, they had came right into the land of the sky and were getting close to the village Hidden by Heaven. He could tell, namely, by the landscape. Everything in the land of skies was white; the dirt, grass, other vegetation, mountains, trees, even the houses in the village. He smiled, this was his favorite country because of this. He loved the landscape. He found it beautiful. He smiled as his paper wings beat against the sky, propelling them faster.
He looked back at the girl he had smuggled off the Toropikaru Islands, to see if she was awake.

Yuki had since opened her eyes and was watching the world fly past silently. Her bright orange eyes were wide and alert. She had a little smile on her face. When Yume turned and looked at her, she smiled again. "Yes, I'm still awake."

He gave her a calm and kind smile as they began to quickly, suddenly, yet gently descends. He tilts his head as they gently land. His feet his the ground, the white grass, softly. He steps gently, his feet; nay, both his legs, had fell asleep. He threw his arms back and yawned deeply, expending chakra and flying at the same time turned out to be rather tiring. He looked back at her and then the white forest around the grassy meadow and smiled. He loved this place.

She crawled off of his back after he landed and looked around. She had a meek smile on her face. She liked it here, too! She was a little weirded out, though. There was no sand.. She knelt down, and touched the grass. The mainland was different alright. She looked behind her. No rocks follwoing-- at least, not yet. She smiled. She was glad.

He looked back at her and gave her a smile, "So... Yuki-chan. What do you think? Of the main lands, I mean." He looked around admiring the pure white landscape around him. The Land of Skies; The Village Hidden by Heaven. formally The land of Death; The Village Shrouded by Blood. It was beautiful. He looked at the white area around them and then looked back at Yuki, "This area suits you, I think." (Short, Sorry xD)

Yuki nodded as Yume asked her if she liked the landscape. "I love it.. its so.. So.. fascinating!" Her eyes were wide with awe, and she continued to survey the land. She looked at Yume as she spoke again. "You really think so? I do like it here.." then her smile slightly faded, and she became rather serious, but not intimidating. She remembered what she wanted to say. "Yume-kun.. Um, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but.. We look alike."

He looked at her, his white hair falling across his face. He looked up at the sky and then down at her. "Hm, Yes I did notice... I tried to avoid it... but I suppose that I should confront it..." He looked around, thinking about it. "Honestly, Yuki... I'm not sure. I'm sorry to say." His face was calm and his glance reassuring, "The Yurohane Clan... my clan was killed off on a island when I was young, but we always said that we originated from the Toropikaru Island... I suppose that I could be related to you. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised... It would explain why I was drawn to you in your time of need." He smiled.

Yuki returned his smile glady. "I knew it.." she whispered. she looked up at him again, her hair blowing out of her face. "Then.. how do you think?.. Oh! Uh.. I'm on the Kosari clan, if that rings a bell.. Does that make us.. cousins?" She gave him a crooked smile-- He actually reminded her of Yanme.. She tilted her head, and examined him carefully.

"Kosari..." He said, as he looked up and rubbed his chin. He looked down at her with a smile, "Kosari... When I was little, a branch, namely my aunt, was named Kosari Yune. So..." He dropped his hand on her head and ruffled her hair, "Yuki-ikoki..." He closed his eyes and smiled at her. "I suppose... two people who thought they didn't have any blood in this world, were wrong." His smile widened.

She smiled. "Yume-ikoki.." Her smile widened. "How.. How interesting!" she looked at him again. They really did look alike! She thought back, t see if she could remember him.. there was always Yanme-- she really didn't have many friends beside her family.. She couldn't remember Yume. She shrugged, though. "Well, that do we do now, then?"

He ruffled her hair a bit more and then removed his hand from her head. He smiled and looked around, "We'll go to the village. I'll show you a city. A village." He began to walk towards the forest, "I doubt it anything like you've seen on the islands." He continued towards the forest.

She smiled a little as he walked on, and she trotted to catch up to him. then she remembered something. "Um.. I'm not so sure its a big deal anymore, but I still look like a boy... Um.." She itched the back of her head uncomfortably. "I've been a boy for three years, so.. I'm not so sure what to do now that I'm away from my village.. Are they still looking for me? Eh.." She ran her hands through her hair. she was stressing herself out.

He stopped and looked back at her, "Listen... You can dress however you like. We'll get whatever clothes you want in the village. And if the Kosari-clan ever comes after you on the main lands... well, Yume-Ikoki will be there to stop them." He gave her a confident grin, "Don't get the wrong idea though... I'll start training you. So your able to protect yourself."

She chuckled akwardly. "I just.. Don't know who I should be. Should I be "Yuki-ikoki" or "Yukio-ikoki?" She sighed, then giggled. "I guess I'm having identity issues, here.." Yuki shrugged her shoulders. "I've just been "Yukio" for so long, I don't.. don't know what to do, I guess.."

He shrugged, thinking the answer was obvious, "I suppose, the best answer is both. Be Yukio when nervous and in doubt. I'd rather you be yourself around me though." He smiled and continued walking into the forest. His white hair was blending in with the rest of the forest-- everything for that matter. He looked over his shoulder at her and realized her hair was the same way. He smiled, it was weird to have family suddenly.

Yuki chuckled again. "Yeah, Yukio is a little stronger than I.. Oh, now I sound like someone with multiple personalities!" She smiled nervoulsy. "I think.. I'll be me. Kosari Yuki. But.." she looked away. "I'd have to dress like a girl.. Ugh.."

He chuckled with her and looked forward, "It'll be better that way... but you can dress however you want." He smiled, even though he wasn't looking at her, his autumn orange eyes suddenly flickered and then dulled. He suddenly fell to his left, his body thudded on the ground as he passed out. It seemed that flying the ocean took more then he thought it would, his head hit the white grass with a thud, his eyes slowly closing.

"Y-Yanme-ikoki!" Yuki kneeled by his side to see if he was okay. She checked his pulse.. He just seemed exhausted. She looked around to see if anything was around. She yawned a deep, loud yawn. She understood how he felt so tired. She curled up beside him, and closed her eyes.

The last thing he was able to hear was her call him 'Yanme-ikoki' he smiled right before he passed out. He laid upon the thick, soft white grass, unaware she had decided to sleep beside him, he snored lightly as slept calmly, ironically, not dreaming. When his eyes finally opened, the sky was golden with the dawn of a new day.

Yuki's eyes had opened long before the sun rose, and she began gathering twigs for a small fire, occasionally glancing at Yume-ikoki to see how he was doing. Not before too long, she had a decent fire going just as the sun was beginning to kiss the horizon. Her stomach was growing. Yuki sat, tending to the fire around the time when Yume awoke.

Yume sat up quickly, his arms shooting up towards the sky as he yawned deeply. He inhaled and slowly opened his autumn orange eyes, his hand rose towards his face and he placed it over his eyes before yawning again. He looked up and dropped his hand onto his lap after he crossed his legs. He looked up towards a small source of warmth and saw Yuki-ikoki tending to a fire. He smiled at her and spoke, "Good morning, Yuki-ikoki." He said smiling at his identical cousin, "I see you beat me to consciousness..." He looked down, puzzled, he didn't remember going to sleep... he assumed he must've passed out.

"I believe I did," she said smiling. "Come, I have a fire here. It got a little chilly last night, so I needed some heat.. I'm not used to the main land's climate yet." She smiled another, sheepish smile, and motioned for her cousin to join her. "Its funny.." she thought to herself, "We look so much alike, but we're only cousins.." At this thought, she laughed aloud. She covered her mouth, and blushed a little. Turning away to face the fire, she said, "Did you sleep well, cousin?"

He got up as she laughed, his eyes couldn't help but move towards her as she laughed, he wondered why she had done such a thing and then followed with a smile, deciding it probably didn't matter. He began to walk to her and the fire. He sat by her as he reached the fire, though a bit further back, "Yes, cousin. I did. I slept exceptionally well." He said, giving her a confident smile as he did so.

She returned his smile gladly. "Good, good!" She looked back at the fire, slightly aware of how far away Yume was sitting from it--then she remembered he was made out of paper. She nodded to herself, confirming this. "So.. What are we going to do? When can I learn to make the rocks quit following me? Oh! When can I learn to fly?" She blushed at her barrage of questions, and looked away. "Gomen.. Sorry. I'm jsut.. excited, I guess. Maybe a little too eager." she looked at the fire again.

He smiled at her as the questions emerged, she as naive' but, in this world, that wasn't always a bad thing. He leaned back, resting on his elbows and looking at the fire before his autumn eyes traveled to her and he spoke in a calm voice that was borderline soothing. "I'll enroll you in an academy when we get to a village... your a bit old, but they owe me one, so it'll pan out, I think..." He gave her a small smile before pulling his knees up, closer to his chest, his eyes back on the fire.

"An.. academy?.. Like a school? I've never been to one of those.. What's it like?" Yuki looked at Yume, her orange eyes wide with curiosity. The fire reflected off of them, and seemed to make them glow. Then her curious look faded and was replaced with one of concern. "Yume-ikoki, will I not be made fun of?.." She looked at him a while more, then gazed at the fire. It was slowly beginning to die, but she didn't mind.

He thought for a moment, "I suppose, some people will make fun of you... there is no getting around that, really..." He rubbed his chin and looked up at her with the same eyes she had, "But you'll also make friends, I'm sure..." He looked at the dwindling flames of the fire and prepared to speak more, "If things get out of hand, I'll try my best to teach you myself." He said before giving her that same smile.

Yuki pulled her knees into her chest, and stared at the flame. "I think I'll be a boy if I go to the academy.. 'Yukio' is much stronger than I am, I suppose." She leaned back and said again, "Maybe I'd get made fun of, less. Oh, well.." She heaved a sigh, and stared up at the sky.

Yume stares at his cousin through the same eyes she possessed. "Yuki-ikoki..." Yume began with his soothing voice, "It's true... they might..." He looked at her through troubled eyes, the look of sincerity in his eyes. "But I wonder... that might turn against you if they discover your secret, don't you think?" He asked her, taking her into consideration. "It may be best if you go there as 'Yuki'." He said, "But it's your choice. " He said, "Either way, your Yuki-ikoki to me."

Yuki looked away, contemplating what he said. "I.. I see. Then I'll just be myself, I suppose." She ran her fingers through her silky white hair, letting it fall back over her forehead."Either way, I'll get made fun of, I suppose. Oh, well. I'll have to manage. I'll do my bes, I'll be Yukio on the inside.." She looked around, feeling a little uncomfortable. "But.. that means I'll have to wear girl clothes.."
