Reforming Dawn~

[Moongem]

His snow white hair was no longer pure. It was tainted with hints, and tinges of black, and his eyes... his eyes were no longer their summer grass green, but a deep jade. His hand moved towards his face and his fingers tucked themselves between his lower facial mask and his lower face. He pulled quickly and removed the mask and tossed it on the ground. He suddenly fell to the ground and laid back against the soft, moist earth beneath him. His eyes shut and he thought for a moment.

Had he done the right thing in the Poison village? Leaving him with Zaneku? He shook his head and dismissed these thoughts. He HAD done the right thing, he was sure of it. His eye lids slowly slid open and he looked at the golden/purple dawn sky above him and listened to the waves crashing against the nearby beach. This was a good place and time to reform New Dawn. Now he just had to wait for the others; Ryuu and Minzuri.


Minzuri's hair fell down in her face as she walked along the beach. Her eyes were downcast and her eyes glazed in a kind of daze. It had been three days since Ryuu-san had gotten them safely away from the village after... after Onikaru had faded from this world at the hands of his own uncle. Her feet dug into the sand, her mind away from her and her back lunched into a curl; it could have been from the injury she had taken in battle or because of her mood, it was next to impossible to tell. The back of her head and neck was caked with dried blood from her encounter with Uchiha Zaneku's monster; Sasimaru Sinari.

She walked along the shore line, stepping on her shadow with every step and not paying any attention to the area around her.

[Rinko]

Ryuu wandered amoung the trees, not really all there; just letting her feet take her wherever as she rearranged her thoughts. Onikaru, her first real friend, was gone. Gone.. Her heart ached. Her grey eyes were dull and lifeless as she skimmed the trees, not taking in any detail in particular. Her bladed chain whip was wound around her shoulder, under her arm. She sighed. The trees were thinning now, and a village was apparent. She kept walking, not thinking, not feeling. She saw someone on the ground. Shiro? They all were supposed to meet here.. she approached quietly, and aknowledged him with a bow of her head.

[Moongem]

He heard two two sets of oncoming footsteps; one from the beach and one from the tree line. He lifted his head and saw that Ryuu had approached him and bowed her head at him. He returned the gesture to her before looking down at the other girl, Minzuri, who was slowly working her way up from the beach. His hair began to fall, backwards, spiking out towards his back, similar to Onikaru's. His hair also seemed darker, darker then grey. Almost black. His eyes had nearly left jade and turned into a deep green; nearly black. He examined the two, and smiled at them softly.

Minzuri didn't acknowledge the male the least bit, but did look up and give Ryuu and tired, forced smile before sinking to the ground and hugging her knees. She didn't really care what he had to say... he would never be the leader of New Dawn in her eyes. Only Karu-Kun.... She looked at him and saw, what looked like a genuine smile. A happy smile. How could he smile when Karu lied dead some where? She looked away from him and buried her face in her arms.

[Rinko]

Ryuu weakly returned Minzuri's smile. She was really hurting.. Ryuu sat beside her, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Ryuu felt like she wanted to cry; there was so much pain.. why was Shiro smiling? Ryuu looked at him again. He looked... Different. She couldn't imainge why. Wasn't his hair white? and his eyes?.. Ryuu looked down and away, not wanting to say anything. She was still recovering from her wounds dealt by that Jinchuriki girl. She sighed softly. So Shiro was going to be their new leader.. Ryuu wasn't sure how she felt about that; Shiro had always been so distant towards her, so she didn't know what kind of leader he was going to be. Ryuu was tired of hurting. She withdrew within herself as she'd done before, and grew numb. She dettached herself from.. herself. She stared blankly ahead, any light from her cold grey eyes hidden.

[Moongem]

He looked at them with almost a look of relief, his face was calm and almost seemed shorter then it had at first. Like Onikaru's. His hair was now thrown back, again, much resembling Onikaru's. His eyes, the same dark color. He even seemed shorter then Shiro. He looked over at them and his lips parted right before spoke, his voice different from Shiro's normal voice, "I've learned that in this world... those who seek power, are successful. But. Those who work with their partners... are even more powerful..." He looked off towards the sun, his eyes softening. An aura began to come of him, "And those who believe they can achieve greater power alone... end up dead..."

Minzuri sobbed a bit as Ryuu put her arm around but then quickly stiffened as he began to speak. That wasn't Shiro's voice... and that definitely wasn't something Shiro would say, she looked over at him with wide eyes

[Rinko]

Ryuu gave Minzuri a squeeze to let her know she could go on and cry, but she stopped dead. She stiffened, also, and jumped a little. That.. definately wasn't Shiro. She looked up. No... no way! "Onikaru?!" Her gray eyes were wide, and full of life. Almost silver in fact. But, wait.. what? Where was Shiro? she looked around. "You're.." She had to stop talking, and she looked away. Tears of joy were forming in her eyes, and she didn't dare let him see her cry. No, she was slightly too proud for that. Her position was rather akward, though. One arm around Minzuri, and her head turned the opposite way, tears spilling down her cheeks. She was determined to stay in that position until she stopped, but she knew it was obvious that she was crying. she sighed, and with the arm that was around Minzuri, she used to wipe her tears. "I'm sorry.." she looked up again, not quite believing what she was seeing. After three days of unbearable sorrow... Yet here he was..

[Moongem]

He stood up, Ryuu had got it... Seen through Katsmaru's trick. He now looked precisely like Onikaru. His hair, his eyes, his voice. Everything. He walked towards the two girls and sat besides them, still looking out towards the sun. "Glad to see someone would have cried at my death... but your tears are wasted on Shiro.... Shiro Yume is dead. Killed in my place, thanks to my Biju." He looked towards them. "My jinchuriki's a scared of dying... and he knew what would happen if we had pursued Uncle as we did..." The image of Shiro grabbing a weakened Onikaru's wrist flashed through his mind, "All it took was a touch. A single touch and Katsmaru took him over and disguised me as him... I wasn't even aware of it until recently... I felt like I was unconscious..." He looked at them, Katsmaru forced Shiro, who had been put in a forced possession jutsu by the thirteen tailed serpent, went with you to get Minzuri..." He looked at them and smiled once more.

Minzuri was not sure how to react... she saw him... she thought she saw him. She was confused for the moment and then heard Onikaru explain it... it didn't mean much to her... she had been incapacitated when all that happened. She lifted her head, tears falling down her cheeks and looked towards Ryuu, who was looking the other direction.

[Rinko]

Ryuu was now a little mad at herself for crying, and having it be pointed out. She aggressively wiped them from her face, ans stared forward seriously. "I wasn't..." She looked down and away again, then to Minzuri, who happened to be crying as well. Ryuu's eyes were still rimmed with red and tears. "So.. Shiro is now dead? Dead before he even knew it.. Onikaru-san.. Its good to have you back. Excuse me." she stood without another word, and walked towards the trees. There were more tears coming, and she felt the need to hide. She couldn't let Minzuri and Onikaru see how happy she was. She continued until she was out of sight, and sat down, with her head in her hands, feeling sorrow and joy. Sorrow because Onikaru COULD have been gone. Forever. Joy because he wasn't gone. She was also irriated for sheding her tears.

[Moongem]

Minzuri stood as Ryuu walked off, she was worried about her friend and didn't understand why she had left so suddenly. She looked down at Onikaru, who still was wearing that smile and bowed her head respectively, "K-Karu-sama... " She began, "I... I'm goona go make sure Ryuu-san is all right..." She said before walking after her friend quickly.

Onikaru watched after them until he could no longer see either of them. He turned his head towards the ocean and his smile began to change to his normal expression and he slowly stood up and brushed his hair from his face, "This'll.... work perfectly..." He said to himself.

Minzuri caught up with Ryuu and leaned beside her, "Ryuu... Are you alright?"

[Rinko]

Ryuu tensed up when she heard footsteps nearing her, but relaxed a little. Its minzuri.. Her head was still in her hands, but she's stopped crying. "Oh.. I'm fine." She lifted her head out of her hands, and stared ahead, her eyes steely. "I, um.. I just needed a moment, I guess." Ryuu smirked sheepishly at Minzuri. "What about you? Are you okay?" Ryuu stood up against the tree, feeling a little hesitant to head back. She was always a solitary creature.

[Moongem]

She looked at her friend who had seemed to not be crying, Minzuri suddenly felt like the odd one out as she felt tears continue to roll down her. She nodded at her friend and turned around, "Yeah..." She inhaled deeply, "Yeah, I'm fine..." She said in a rough voice before nooding, the hair on the back of her head still caked with dried blood.

Onikaru walked amongst them suddenly, he looked at the two of them for a moment, "I... didn't mean to intrude on any ones privacy... I just think it would behoove us to move out of here soon... I'm not like in this village..." He took a step back, showing that he really hadn't meant to intrude privacy.

[Rinko]

Ryuu stood up, and nodded. "Yeah. If I might make a suggestion-- I think Minzuri-chan may need a little medical attention." Ryuu had noticed how Minzuri walked, hunched over, an little in pain. Ryuu, herself, had a limp, but it was nothing too serious. Ryuu tried to remain distant with everyone-- Slightly paranoid that Oni-san might be picking up on some of her odd turmoil. Her eyes remained lively, though. She was much better now that her thoughts have been pushed aside. "Let's go, then," She said lightly.

[Moongem]

He looked at Ryuu and then at Minzuri, "Minzuri... I suppose you did encounter Sasimaru..." He looked back, "We probably should get you medical attention." His black hair fell in between his eye brows as he looked at his blond haired companion, who was still lightly sobbing. He looked around his shoulder towards the hidden mist village, "I suppose if I don't arouse suspicion, we could navigate in and out the city..." He said before looking back at his companions.

Minzuri wanted to shake her head. She wanted to say no. She wished, they might not be put in more danger just to heal her injuries, but the laceration on the back of her skull and her back cried to go to a medical facility in the Mist village. She didn't want to endanger them again, but she also didn't want to be a hindrance.

[Rinko]

"Its settled, then." Ryuu leaped into a tree, and looked for a safe exit. Her left leg barked out in minor pain, but she willed with away with a straight face. Now wasn't the time to be a pain, let alone in pain. She planned on staying a safe distance away from Minzuri-chan, and Oni-san, not really knowing why. Now that she'd withdrawn into herself, she wanted to be alone. Solitary. "I'll look for a safe place to go," she said from the branch, and took off into the trees, towards the village, making sure not to put too much weight on her leg, now that she was aware of its discomfort. Her expression was rather grim and unfeeling, however.

[Moongem]

Onikaru watched after Ryuu as she took off. It was clear to him the weight distribution between her legs. He closed his eyes, smiled, and dipped his chin towards his chest. He remained like this for a moment and then slowly spoke, "Well... Minzuri... We should follow Ryuu-chan..." He lifted his chin and looked towards the battered girl, "Do you need help walking?" He asked.

Minzuri flinched as Onikaru began to speak, she looked up at him and frowned. Her leader was alive... he was alive and all she could do thus far was slow him down and burden him. She looked at him through her blue eyes and parted her lips before she spoke, "Yeah... sure..." She hated herself as she spoke, succumbing to the pain she felt in her back and head, but she couldn't help herself.

Onikaru looked at her, blinked at her and nodded. He walked over towards his companion and knelt down in front of her. She looked away as he acted and then reluctantly crawled on his back. He stood slowly, not wishing to cause her anymore pain. He stood straight and tall and looked in the direction Ryuu had ran with his Sharakugan, seeing her chakra made it easy to track her. He began to walk towards the village, for he would refuse to give his companion discomfort.

[Rinko]

Ryuu lept from one branch to another, allowing herself to hurt now that she was a safe distance away. She was till scouting the area, but also examining her internal injuries as well. "Lets see," she thought to herself, "A few cracked ribs, my left leg.. maybe fractured, maybe broken.. Some mental instability, but that's nothing new.. Hmm.." She paused, scouting out the area. she hadn't forgotten how Oni-kun could read her, so she knew he was tracking. She straightened, arched her back, and felt it pop. "Yup. A few dislocated vertibre, too. Damn Jinchuriki..." She lept again, feeling her own pain, not really disliking it. She thought about her route-- He was most likely on the ground. She found a place, and forged on-- No one would see them.

[Moongem]

Onikaru continued through the forest, his feet plodding through the grass as he walked. He worried about his teammates; his friends. He shrugged his shoulder and felt the burns on them. The doctors in the mist village were gonna think they had just got back from a war they hadn't heard about yet. With just cause, Onikaru watched Ryu-chan's progress, wishing she had stayed with them... just in case... He sighed and then a single yawn escaped him. It was long and tired, he hadn't realized it until now, but he was tired... Uncle and his group and took more then he had out of him.

[Rinko]

The end of this village was drawing near-- so far so good. Ryuu would fight to the death for her team if anything was gonna happen. She felt it was safe, though. She perched in a tree, aching. She wasn't gonna give up, but she did wait for them to get a little closer, however she wasn't going to let them too near. Ryuu was known for not letting people in. She waited a few minutes, then leapt through more trees. Once they got to a medic, she'd rest, but first she'd ensure the safety of her team. She'd wait until they received aid; after all, the sustained the most damage.

[Moongem]

Once Onikaru got in the village, finding a medical center wouldn't be hard. He looked up; he could see the gates from here. Minzuri and Ryuu's pain would soon be eased. This goal made him keep moving, and wouldn't stop until they were better, after all, he was the leader of New Dawn. He looked forward, determination on his face, his face resembled his fathers, yet, more of his uncles... He got to the gate. The guards in the booth on the wall stared at him for a moment and he looked away. He waited, he'd prefer if they went in together. He looked around, looking for Ryuu's chakra.

[Rinko]

"They arrived.." Ryuu stood behind a tree, reluctant to come out, the they stopped movied. Waiting for her... She silently came from the tree and said, "Glad to see you made it. Let's get you two some help.." She took a step back, and aside as to let Onikaru and Minzuri passed her. She was meaning to follow behind them.

[Moongem]

Onikaru nodded at her, "Your right..." He smiled and put a hand on her shoulder as he passed her, the smile quickly fading, "Let's get you two some help." He said as he got into the village, watching her out of the corner of his eye. Minzuri still resting on his back. He looked around as one of the guards from the booth exited and approached them.

"What's your business in Kirigakure, children?" The guard asked Onikaru, his eyes drawn to the obvious pain and injury on the three of them. Onikaru's lips parted before he spoke, "We were attack..." Onikaru had no intention of lying... Onigakure was at war with the Alliance of 5 and mist was part of that 5, "By Onigakure Onikage... Uchiha Zaneku..." He shrugged his shoulder, diverting attention to Minzuri, "She was attacked by Onigakure red beast Sasimaru Sinari... We barely managed to escape alive... One of us, a dear friend, wasn't so lucky..." Onikaru ended

The guards stared at them with surprised, yet unbelieving eyes. He looked at the dark haired girl behind them, "This boy's story true girl?" He asked.

[Rinko]

Ryuu flinched and involentarily moved back as Onkiaru put his hand on her shoulder. She wasn't sure what to make of it. she watched his smile fade, as he instructed that she, too, would receive medical attention. She was about to protest when the gaurd spoke up. She cloed her mouth and remained very still until the gaurd spoke to her. She crossed her arms, and said, "Does it look like Oni-san is lying? We all were attacked by Zaneku Uchiha. I had to face off against his Jinchuriki pet-- Look, its true. Now let us in so Minzuri-chan can get some medical attention! Please!" Ryuu's gaze was intense, but a little off. Her gray eyes, stone cold. Her arms remained crossed, the weight shifted on her legs, mainly on her right leg, trying not to exert herself.

[Moongem]

Onikaru stared at the guard with unapproved eyes before the man slowly nodded and stepped back from them, "Okay..." He said slowly, "Your free to enter the village. A medical center is right around the corner. Onikaru stitched on a fake smile to appease the guard, "Thank you sir." Onikaru said with a very passable look of appreciation, "We'll be on our way now." He bowed his head and turned, walked towards the village and looking down the street, keeping his eyes open for the medical center. After a bit, he saw the building and looked back, looking for Ryuu-chan.

[Rinko]

Ryuu was following behind a few meters, doing her best not to limp. Her pain wasn't important right now-- Minzuri and Onikaru almost died. She didn't need any help. She walked slowy, so the medical ninjas would treat her two companions first. She kept her gaze ahead, not looking at anything in particular, her eyes dull. Ryuu's thoughts became a low drone in the back of her mind.

[Moongem]

Onikaru say the building they were looking for. As the guard had said, it was quite obvious. A large sign saying, "Kirigakure Medical Corp." was posted atop the building. He then realized the destroyed state of the village and remember news he had heard a while back.

--"Onikaru." Shiro had said casually, "You hear about what happened at the Mist village?" Onikaru had shuffled a bit before he looked at his white haired companion and former mentor, "I haven't... what is it." His voice was blunt and demanding as he spoke to the man across from him. Shiro looked had looked upwards, through the top of the tree line. "It was attacked... by the Kuro Hanran... by your uncle."--(This is a flash back xD)

Onikaru looked around, large quantities of the inner city were demolished. This medical center was probably a temporary one... He looked up at the sign once more before stepping into the building. A lady were medical kunoichi clothing looked at the door as they entered and covered her mouth with her hands, "My... What happened to you children?" She asked. Onikaru took the question as rhetorical and said, "Onii-chan." He said, his fake facade of politeness obvious to his team mates, "My friends need medical attention!" He shrugged his shoulder. She nodded quickly and lead them to a medical room in back. Onikaru followed.

[Rinko]

Once they found the medical tent, Ryuu stopped walking. She was still a few meters behind them, and waited until they entered. Looking around, she took note of the destruction here. She approached the tent, but didn't enter. Instead, she sat down in the shade of a nearby tree. she gazed blankly ahead of her, at the tent. Now that her companions were getting the help they needed, she felt more at ease. she could now relax. She heaved an exasperated sigh; it felt incredible to finally sit down. Unfortunately, the pain in her leg and ribs came back to bite her. She cringed, holding her sides, not quite daring to touch her leg. It felt like Fire was coursing up her sides. Maybe.. Maybe sitting down was a bad idea. She flopped over to her left side, and passed out.

[Moongem]

Onikaru's eyes widened as his Sharakugan saw Ryuu's chakra flicker and begin to die out, 'she must've passed out...' he thought to himself. He wanted to check on her, get her medical attention, right now. Not later, now. He tried to get up, a few nurses place their hands on him, still bandaging his shoulders, "Sir!" They said, "Please let use finish the bandages at least. He looked at them and sat down until they had finished his shoulders. Once they tied the bandaged off he stood up, faster then any of them could object. He exited the tent against their wishes and walked to the tree where Ryuu had fallen; he looked down at her and knelled down. He scooped his newest companion up in his arms and turned back towards the tent. He entered it and went towards the table that he had been on a moment ago.

[Rinko]

Ryuu groaned as she felt she was lifted off of the ground. In her gray haze of consciousness, she knew someone must have found her. "Nnnh... Nuh.. No.." She tired to move, but was much too exhaused. Her eyelids fluttered, and she looked up. Oni-san?! "Eh.. What?.. Onkaru-- You look.. terrible.." She looked away. "Have they.. have they treated you, yet? I won't receive any help until you and Minzuri-chan get help, first." She realized he might not be so convinced, so she said, "Oh, come on.. I was just taking a nap. Put me down."

[Moongem]

He did as she said and placed her down on the medical table inside the tent. "Ryuu-chan." He said, "I'm going to be fine. I'm a little burnt. That's it." He lied, "I can tell just by looking at it; Your legs hurt." He looked at her, "As leader. I command you get medical attention. Now." He looked at the nurses and then back at her, knowing she was hardly conscious, "Are you about to go against a command?" He asked her as if he was questioning her loyalty.

[Rinko]

She looked at him by turning her head on the table, her gray eyes wide. "No.. No, sir.. I didn't mean to.." she sighed, "A-alright.." she knew he was lying, though. She didn't know how or why, but she wasn't about to go against her leader. she turned her head away from him and hut her eyes tightly. "Let it be done, then," she said sounding a little resigned.
