Oh Wow! (The Siblings' Arrival: Open)

"Oi! Watch it! Let me go! We're not spies! Jessica! A little help!?" Jake currently had his hands pinned behind his back and under the restraint of one of Konoha's guards. He had come up unexpectedly and had surprised them instead of walking up the path like most sensible people did, like Jessica did. She was just coming over a small hill out of the forest path and stopped, staring at the situation. "Come oooooon." Jake jerked, trying to free his hands, but they were held tightly and he was no match for the strength of the guard. He gave Jessica a helpless look, ears and tail drooping in defeat despite his struggles.

Jessica sighed heavily at the sight of her brother, her eyes glimmering with annoyance though her whiskers twitched with some amusement. She had warned him, but he had wanted to make a "Grand Entrance". A grand entrance alright. She didn't say anything as she walked up, her kimono shuffling with each stride her dainty paws made. She stopped a couple feet in front of the guard that didn't currently have their hands full with her brother. Then she bowed slightly and clasped her hands together. "I am very sorry for my Brother's behavior and sudden, if suspicious, arrival. Rest assured that we are simply travelers from Nekomata's fortress and h ave no intent on harming anyone in this village." She then looked up at the guard, her ears drooping and her eyes glimmering, pupils large. She didn't normally go for the cute look but... It managed to get a smile from the konoha shinobi. "Please, if you would be so kind as to release my brother." The guard waved at his companion and Jake's hands were promptly released. For once Jake was smart and didn't whirl around to try and get revenge. Instead he simply stumbled away a couple steps and then rubbed his wrists with his paws, though his unsheathed claws and flattened ears showed his annoyance. The fur on his back and neck prickled, and it was all he could do not to curl his lip or hiss.

"Arigatou gozaimasu!" Jessica ducked her head and bowed again, always the polite one. "Your kindness is much appreciated!"

"Kindness?" Jake couldn't help but spit the word, but a sharp nudge in the side from Jessica's elbow shut him up. He glowered, staring at the ground and rubbing his wrists. "Hmnph." Jessica then grabbed Jake by his ear and began to drag him past the guards and the gate into the city.

"Sometimes Jake! We're not even in the city and you decide to cause trouble! Baka!" Jessica scolded her brother fondly, though annoyance still dripped from her voice. The guards from the gate were watching the two walk away, curious expressions on their face. It wasn't every day that two nincats waltzed through the gates, much less anyone as polite as Jessica had been, human or not. Jessica paid them no mind though and instead suddenly stopped and gazed around, her hand unknowingly still clenched onto Jake's ear. She only realized it once he started repeating "Gomennasai! Gomennasai!" Over and over again. With a startled gasp and an embarrassed apology she let go of his ear and returned to staring around in wonder.

"It's so big!" Her eyes got huge and she turned around a couple times, gazing at the huge buildings of Konoha. Then a monument along the cliffs that bordered the back end of the city caught her attention. Giant faces were carved into them! "Whhaaaa! Jake what do you think those are for!? Those had to have taken forever to make! And Jake! That building is absolutely huge!" She pointed towards the main building of Konoha, the Hokage's residence.

"I don't know." Jake mumbled and rubbed his ear tenderly between two fingers, but when he finally looked up he too could not help but stare at the grandeur of the village of Konoha. He didn't really know why it was called a Hidden Village... it wasn't exactly hidden.

[Moongem]

His radio went off in his ear, silent to those around him. A voice echoed into his ear and he jumped a bit at surprise. He looked down to his left, his golden hair moving with his head and exposing his ear, his arm lifted past his chest and to his ear. He pressed on the mechanical microphone lodged inside his left ear and the voice became much clearer, "Suspicious activity. Main Gate. Two Intruders. Different species..." Gin's eyebrows lifted a bit as he took in that last part, "Cat... like individuals..." The guard on the opposite side of the microphone said, breaking the 'code'.

His eye brows furrowed into a frown and he turned to his right, facing the man he looked at as a god, the Hokage, Sakebi Akuma. His rich, deep voice echoed from his throat as he spoke to the man, "Hokage-Sama..." He looked up with chest-nut eyes, "Please excuse me for a moment, I won't be long." He bowed his head once more and then began out of the Hokage mansion at the base of the Hokage Mountain. The sound of his boots clinking against the marble floor echoed throughout the large building until he reached the large doors, of course, being the leader of the Konoha Black Ops division he would not leave in such a way. He crouched down a bit and lounged himself towards a large window that would lead outside. He soared past the window and his feet softly landed on the large wooden fence that surrounded the Hokage mansion. He looked around the village, for the most part, it was quiet, quieter then the old Leaf Village would have ever been. His eyes drifted towards the large gates in the distance and crouched down once more and hurled his body to the next roof top with grace and obvious experience.

Almost three minutes after his departure from the Hokage's office, he reached the gates of Konoha. He fell from the roof of a nearby building and landed softly on the sandy path. He looked up at the two guards that had encountered the two, 'intruders'. He lifted his hand into a wave, but his face remained hard, stern, he knew Lord Hokage could see him, their was not opportunity for 'casual' not in this Konoha. He stood and stepped towards the two and they straightened quickly, they also knew that the Hokage was watching them. "Explain yourselves, Lord Hokage is curious to what you mean by 'invading cat people'." The one that had grabbed the cat boy explained the situation to Gin. Gin lifted his hands and rubbed his chin his left hands thumb and forefinger. "I've decided..." He said blatantly, "I'll go investigate these individuals myself." He turned his body and began walking off in the other direction, following the obvious footprints in the ground.

Not soon after, he spotted the two. It was easy, even without their appearance as a factor. They were clueless. He stepped towards them quickly as they marveled at the monuments of the village. As he got close to the two of them he piped up, "Oi, Oi..." He started, to get their attention, "What do you think your doing?" He asked in a stern voice.

Jessica was so busy gazing around in awe that she didn't notice someone approach them with an almost malicious purpose. Jake, however, being on the alert after his confrontation with the guards, did. He watched from the corner of his eye, hoping that maybe the person would walk by them, but he didn't, and instead spoke to them in a harsh manner like they were doing something wrong. He gave Jessica a sharp prod in the side and she turned quickly, staring at the man in surprise.

"Wha-what are we doing?" Jessica blinked and flicked her tail, confusion clouding her eyes and wrinkling her brow. "We were just looking around... we're travelers... we-" Wait a minute. "We weren't doing anything wrong. You have no right to speak to us so harshly!" Jake rested a steadying hand on her shoulder and leaned towards her, whispering something in her ear. Jessica twitched her ear in acknowledgement, a gesture a human wouldn't be able to pinpoint unless they spent a lot of time around nincats. When she spoke again her tone was much more polite, almost apologetic for her previous harshness. "I'm sure it must be strange, alarming even, for another species to suddenly arrive at your village... but we don't mean any harm... We've been traveling a long way and simply wanted to stop for some refreshment, maybe find a room for a night or two. We'll be on our way soon if we aren't welcome here..." But then if that was the case then why did the guards let them in? Something else was at work here and Jessica was suspicious that the guards had tipped someone with higher power off. She flicked her tail and twitched her whiskers.

Jake remained quiet mostly, giving his wrists one last rub before letting his arms drop to the level that he kept his kunai at. To anyone other than Jessica it wouldn't seem like a defensive gesture. He didn't grab his kunai, and he wasn't reaching into any pockets, but he was still ready. A faint glint of his claws flashed in the sun as he worked his paws nervously. "Mmn-Like my sister said. We're just passing through. Though if you want us to leave now we'll happily oblige." He suddenly didn't like it here, something seemed off.

Gin listen to them banter and babble one, actually listening to them. He shut his eyes and dipped his chin to his chest and placed his face into his palm. He looked up as they male one spoke, saying they'd happily leave. He removed his face from his hand and looked at them, with an almost stunned look, "Nin-cats..." Stated blatantly as he moved his hands into his pockets and looked back and forth at the two cats, He almost rolled his eyes as he removed his hands from his pockets and put them across his chest and stared at the two sternly.

"You've done nothing wrong, were aware of this... but you see, this village is in a state of isolation due to the war, the guards are supposed to kill any body who approaches the village... but..." He looked at them again, first the male and then the female, "It seems your appearances save you..." He looked at them, "It would greatly behoove the both of you if you left now..." He looked around the buildings around them, people were beginning to look out their windows at them, all of them with the same, gray, spiral patterns in their eyes. They all stared at the two cat people, and Gin, but mostly the two cats. He looked up, the gray, spiral like pattern now in his eyes. "As I said... You may want to leave..."

[Selena]

Jessica perked her ears when the man said what they were. "Yes... We're Nin-cats... Like Nin-dogs except... cats..." She shifted uneasily and flattened her ears when he began to speak again, beginning to notice the change in the chakra flow around them and the stares from the windows. "O-oh... We didn't know..." If she could have gone pale she would have, and she subconsciously grasped for her brother's hand. He squeezed it gently. "Yes... we'll leave..." Her voice was quiet, and a bit scared, but Jake didn't waste any time and without another word he swept her up and sprang away from the man. Onto the roofs he went in one leap, and then he sprinted towards the wall, leaping from roof top to roof top. He didn't put Jessica down, he didn't quiet trust her to run.

"You can put me down!"

"Hush Jessica! We won't get separated this way, I don't trust that man to let us just leave. Watch my back for me. I don't want to get hit with anything unexpected. This was a bad village to go to, we need to find someone that knows more about it out here before we just waltz into another village. For all we know they could be worse than this one. And did you see their eyes Jessica? I had a friend that spoke to me of eyes like that. I thought it was a joke, but if his joke was anywhere near to reality we need to get out of here and get far, far away."

Jake wasn't usually the one that lectured Jessica, he only did when he was serious about something, so she nodded and wrapped her paws around his neck, peering over his shoulder for any danger that might try to follow. It was a bit of a funny sight, and anyone that didn't know them would probably think they were a couple. Of course they weren't, and Jake was right. It would be harder to separate them if he carried her.
