Onikaru Onikaru steps into the village, his blindfold not hindering his progress. He had a girl in his arms, a girl he had found on the outskirts of the village.
Suddenly he knew he was in radio proximity from the others as the voice of Yume Shiro bickering with Uzumaki Minzuri entered his ear. He assumed his teacher was also in range.
He opened his mouth, his voice dominating over both of his comrades, "Shiro." He said with a dark dominance in his voice, "Minzuri." his voice again cutting the two, their conversation ending immediately. He paused for a second, assuring his dominance on the radio, "I believe you too, Sensei, will be interested in this 'development'."
He became quiet and walked towards a residential structure. He entered the house. He set the sleeping girl down on what appeared to be a stone couch. He stepped towards the wall and leaned against it, awaiting his comrades. Shiro "I don't care Minzuri!" Shiro said loudly. They seemed to be bickering about the current establishment of the team, 'New Dawn.' also known as, 'Team chaos'. "The poison village is much more suitable for peo-" Suddenly his leader, Onikaru Uchiha's voice cut into his own, cutting him off. Onikaru's voice echoed over the radio.
He stepped towards the gate, assuming that was where Onikaru had entered the village from, it seemed reasonable that he would be near there. Minzuri She grimaced as Shiro returned on their ongoing argument. She was preparing her own argument, she believed their base of operations should had been somewhere nicer like the sunrise or sunset village, but suddenly a deep voice she almost didn't recognize off the bat, cut cut off Shiro. It was Onikaru, it seemed he'd found something, she not been sure, but she would follow Onikaru's orders to the letter.
She headed towards the head of the village. |

Hebimaru was meditating on a hill near the Poison Village, luckily with his headset near him laying on the ground, when he heard his pupil's voice echoing the from the small mechanical device. "Interesting" muttered the White Snake as he opened his eyes and used his Sharakugan eyes to spot where his pupil was and where he was heading.
He saw his large chakra reservoir not alone "Probably he is holding someone" he thought as the big chakra concentration known as Onikaru head for the largest building the Hidden Poison Village could offer. Getting up, Hebimaru joined the earth on his feet and traveled underground toward that house.

Ryuu lie unconscious in Onikaru's arms, vaguely aware that her bladed chain was dragging on the ground. Out of a misty haze that was her mind, she heard voices. Her eyes opened slowly. "Where... where am I?.." She mumbles lightly. Suddenly, she felt a sting in her leg-- where that man gashed her. She cringed. "Gahh!" Going limp, she sighed. "Onikaru.. where are we?"

Onikaru's foot hit the ground as he stepped. He looked down at the girl in his arms, "This is your new home. This is the village hidden in poison." He said quietly replying to the girl. He blinked under his blindfold as he approached a building. He knew Hebimaru was on his way, Shiro and Minzuri might have procrastinated, but it didn't bother him.
His cold fingers wrapped around the cold metal of a door nob. He stood their for a second, trying to think where he was in the village. He nodded, as if confirming something and then turned the door nob and pushed forward, the door opening slowly.
He lifted his foot from the ground once again as he stepped into the building. He thought, I've been in here before.... I know where a place to set her is... he stood still momentarily and then turned to his right towards a counter and began to walk towards it.
As he reached the counter he gently set his new comrade down, "Are you feeling okay?" He asked her as he awaited at least Hebimaru.

His arrival happened within minutes since he started his small journey between the hill he once sat and the house where his pupil and the stranger were. This was an odd act by Onikaru, bringing someone with him, instead of killing whoever that was, perhaps this individual had potential that could be harnessed, or had an interesting ability. If either case proved to be false, he would have to talk with his pupil about the prospects that should be invited to New Dawn, weaklings were not allowed in.
He finally entered the house, allowing his massive chakra aura to work at his maximum capacity, anyone inside would be paralyzed save for his pupil perhaps, but even him would require his new abilities to be immune. This would take care of the newcomer, if he had any wish to live, all thoughts of killing his team would vanish. Inside he saw his pupil near a counter where the girl was. "So what is this Onikaru-kun? Who is she?" he asked with no emotions on his voice as he inspected said girl with his Sharakugan.

"I'm fine, Onikaru.." She sat up on the table, suddenly feeling a fierce wave hit her like a powerful storm. Still, she swung her legs over the counter, noting that her movement was limited. "This person coming must be very powerful.." She thought nervously. When he entered and asked his questions, she said, "My name is Ryuu.." She bowed as best as she could to the source of tremendous power, as is custom in her family (though she hated them, even still) then looked around, trying to figure out where she was. She was very, very nervous. Ryuu was a little used to Onikaru's presence, but she was unsure of how she would fare with others as well.

Onikaru turned towards Hebimaru, knowing who it was before he entered due to his extreme chakra. "Hebimaru-sensei..." He said, "I found this girl by a river outside the village, on accident really." he continued to explain, "We were attacked by somehow surviving villagers. Not only does she show combat prowess, she has a similar background to myself and I believe has a degree of potential. She was helpful fending off the former village inhabitants, although they were weak, she was helpful in my weakened state."
Onikaru stared at Hebimaru, curious on what his opinion on the girl would be.

Although still suspicious, Hebimaru reduced his aura of power so they could all move again, believing that after what Onikaru had said, she wouldn't be much of a threat, even if his pupil was in a weak state. "Onikaru-kun, what you say about this girl may be true, but she needs to be tested, we cannot allow anyone inside of our team, there are requirements to be met my pupil, Minzuri or Shiro should spar with her." he replied.
He was about to leave the room when he returned "One more thing, about those remaining villagers, I'll deal with them myself, at least with those I find"

Ryuu stared at the man called Hebimaru. When he reduced his crushing chakra, she exhaled a little. A test? she thought to herslf; se was really in no good condition to fight with that huge gash in her leg, but she would have to manage. A little seed of determination planted itself within her core. She had to prove herself. She didn't know where the sudden urge came from. After he left, she said, "Onikaru, what am I going to do?" She reached down and felt the gash, swollen with a mild infection. "If he was that powerful, what about the others? What kind of a chance will I have if I spar either one?"

He glares at her, "Listen... you showed potential when we were out there." His mouth closed and then opened, "You'll be fine." He lifts his hand and black chakra begins to circulate around it. "I'm not an expert with medical nin-jutsu. But even I can heal a simple gash. He stares at her, "A word to the wise; Here. Power is valued over everything. Having power will determine your position."
He turns, finishing her leg, he steps away. "As Hebimaru said, you are going to be tested, no real way of getting around it." He looks at her, "I'm confident you'll do fine."

Ryuu tested her leg by swinging it to and fro. she, then Hopped off of where she was sitting. "Power is everything..." she repeated thoughtfully. "I'll have to do what I can to not disappoint him, then. Ryuu looks and Onikaru, then at the door that Hebimaru left. "So is that your teacher?"

Onikaru crossed his arms as his he slowly sunk and then rose again in a nod. His cold lips seperated, "He is. My sensei. My mentor. Now." He turned his head towards, crimson almost bursting through the head wrap. He pushed his onyx hair from his face. "I'll be kind and tell you about the two. Shiro; A crystal user originally from the Village Hidden Under the Leaves. Crystal bends to his will. He's cocky be definitely not to be underestimated, he specializes in close range combat. Minzuri; You won't see her coming. She fights from a distance using the legendary Uzumaki clans wind element as a kind of sniper-esque deal. Fighting her means your also versed in long range, but mind your head. She is moderate at close range."
He blinks under the wrap, ending the glow of red from underneath if only for a second. "Which one will it be?"

Ryuu thought for a moment, staring at her weapon. "Hmmm... Minzuri-- her fighting style is a little like mine. My chakra element, however, is lightning. I'm not sure crystal would do well against lightning.." Ryuu picked up her bladed chain whip, and rolled it up. "I guess I choose Minzuri."

Onikaru stared at her, "Interesting... Although your element is weak to wind yet you still picked Minzuri. Is that decision crafted by courage? Or ignorance?" Onikaru grinned, "The answer will be obvious soon enough." He touched the collar around his neck, activating the multi-way walkie-talkie on it.
His cold lips separated slowly as his voice echoed, "Shiro. Minzuri. Both of you stop coming to my position. Shiro, your relieved of your duties, you can proceed to whatever it was you were doing before hand." He looked at Ryuu, "Minzuri on the other hand.... Your going to meet and test our new 'friend' in the coliseum."
Minzuri crouched against a wall. She had been on her way towards Onikaru when his voice cut the silence around her like a sharp, thin blade through skin around the wrist. She listened to her leaders orders and then looked at the coliseum to the east of her position. She slowly stood tall, she felt honored that Onikaru had allowed her to judge the new member, unaware that Onikaru had given Ryuu a choice, she quickly headed towards the arena.

"Ignorance." Ryuu did her best to try on a smile. She had no idea what she was getting into, but she was already preparing herself for the battle. Ryuu looked at Onikaru through his wrappings. She breifly wondered what his eyes looked like. She listened as he annunciated the word "Friend," realizing that she perhaps hadn't quite made the cut yet for people she could trust. Suddenly, her veiws changed. She was no longer fighting to impress Hebimaru, but fighting for friendship and trust. A small fire of determination burned deep within her.

Onikaru grinned, it seemed his words had got her fired up just as he had hoped. "You seem ready, follow the blind folded guy to the Coliseum." He said with a hint of irony in his voice. He turned slowly and stepped towards the door of the building. His fingers wrapped around cold metal door nob. "Prepare now. As soon as we step into the coliseum, I think Minzuri-chan will consider her job started."
As Onikaru recited those words, Minzuri stepped into Coliseum. She looked around, walls of the arena were battered due to Hebimaru and Onikaru's training in here the previous day. She looked around, looking for a good place to wait. She eyed the observing platform, high above the arena. "That.... looks like my place." She moved quickly up the wall and laid down on the observing platform, waiting for Onikaru-sama and the new person.

Ryuu nodded, and followed Onikaru to the door. As soon as he reached it, the flame in her spirit spiked, and leveled into a gradual anticipation. She would try her absolute best. She would fight like she wasn't afraid of death.. Just to gain and keep new friends. If she succeeded, she would dedicate her life to fighting soley for them. She had to succeed. "Consider me ready." She grinned at him with fire-- or, rather, lightening causing her grey eyes to lighten.

He looked back at her, he looked rather taken aback, "Y-yes.... well. Lets go...." He stared at her and then turned to the door and opened it, "You'll pass. I'm positive. You have the same spirit HE had..." He said mysteriously. Maybe it was his new eyes, but he felt like he could hear her thoughts, or felt them at least. He thought back to when he was a Oni shinobi so long ago and his metaphorical brother. He nodded and opened the door and then stepped out.

Ryuu looked at his expression, a little concerned. "He? He who?" She tiltled her head a little, trying to gather why he reacted the way he did. Had he.. quite possibly.. read her feelings? She regained her composure, deciding she would try to figure things out later. She stepped out behind him, aware that she could actually feel the sun-- it wasn't just shining. It felt like it was shining fer her. Ryuu, for the first time in a long time, felt good about herself and sure on her new purpose-- granted, she would have to fight for it.

He shook his head, "I can't tell you who.... at the moment. All I can say is that you have his spirit." He turns around a corner, the coliseum could now be seen towering over buildings. "Are you prepared? We'll be there soon." He said looking over his shoulder.
Minzuri laid lazily at top of the coliseum, she though she could see two silhouettes down bellow. It was likely that one of those was Onikaru was, in fact, she was certain, it walked like him.

"I understand," she said, feeling a little strange and confused. He pushed the confusion away. She had to focus. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be, I suppose.." Ryuu looked at the sky, following Onikaru. Her eyes settled on the building ahead. "She must be in there," Ryuu thought to herself. Her mind already began working on her 'game plan', trying to decide what approach to take in battle. She shrugged, and to herself, figured she would have just wait and see.

Onikaru felt like he was being watched, he had a good idea of where Minzuri would've hidden herself, he supposed a helpful hint to Ryuu wouldn't hurt anything. His lips slid apart as he spoke, "Keep your eyes up. She'll surely be at the highest possible point in the coliseum." He said quietly as they progressively got closer to the building.

Ryuu readied her weapon as they neared the area. "You got it," she whispered. Her heart pounded in her chest. She knew the risk of being on the ground-- being watched by her opponent. This was nothing new. She planned to figure out Minzuri's tactics as fast as possible when the spar began. Ryuu inhaled deeply, trying to calm herself. To her, this battle was much like life.. or death.

Onikaru stepped into the coliseum, he looked around although he could not see, it was merely a habit. He looked up at where he thought she would be.
Minzuri watched, what appeared to be, a girl follow Onikaru towards the coliseum. She watched the man she called 'Karu-kun' walk in and look up almost right at her. She smiled, 'Leave it to Karu-kun to know exactly where i'd go....' she thought to herself.

As soon as Onikaru looked up, Ryuu disspeared. She appeared directly under the platform, quickly calculating how she would get up there without providing much risk. She pressed herself against the wall, listening intently. Should she scale it?.. No. that would be bad. And teleporting-- forget about that! It would leave her wide open..

Minzuri was ready and her opponent obviously didn't know her power. She placed her index fingers and thumb from both hands together, forming a triangle. "Fuuton! Kaze Soge! (Wind Snipe!) The air pressure in front of her decreased suddenly and a sharp gust of wind shoot from the triangle. It soared with the wind homing out chakra. She had mad sure it wouldn't go after Onikaru by eliminating its ability to sense dark element chakra. It glided invisibly towards Ryuu, a light hum following it.

Ryuu's thoughts were cut off by an ominous hum. Quickly, she began to spin her blade madly. The wind hit her, and blew her back out into the open. "Ah, hell!" she thought. Quickly, while spinning her blade, she moved it so that is was surrounding her at high speed. She lifted her free hand to her forehead, her index finger touching it. Violent yellow chakra began to surge about her chain, reaching the blade. Her finger sparking all the while. She was no longer herself, but a machine ready to kill. (even though it was only a spar) She removed her finger from her forhead, a long, thin ray of lightening followed. She clenched her fist, cutting of the charge, and threw her blade into the wall just below the platform, causing an explosion.

Minzuri squinted as the explosion occurred and shot three more bursts, these ones sharp, able to pierce skin. She watched the girl as she touched her forehead. "What the hell is this?" She thought, "Is it a kekkei genkai?" She observed her, "Unfortunately... for her." She thought again, "The lightning element is weak against wind." Minzuri shot two more burst, making a grand total of five sharp bursts of wind going towards Ryuu.

Ryuu heard the five shots. "Damn it.." She leaped back, slightly aware that they were capable of following her. "No more playing around," she thought again, "I see what she's doing." As soon as the first shot was near enough, Ryuu threw a smoke bomb from her pocket. Quicky, she did a substitution Jutsu. The first strike hit "her", but the smoke was still pretty heavy. The real Ryuu was already climbing the wall. She immidiately hid her Chakra and crouched right behind Minzuri.

Minzuri's eyes widened, she could see her shadow over her. "Your not bad..." she said, "Of course... Karu-kun wouldn't bring just anyone to our village. You must be special..." She turned onto her backand pointed her fingers at Ryuu, a deadly look in her eye.
Onikaru watched with a smile as Ryuu preformed as eloquently as Reizo would have in that situation. He crossed his arms, a close range hit from Minzuri's "Kaze soge." Would leave quite a scar. Yet curiously, Minzuri had hesitated in shooting it.
