Effray'e stepped behind her sempai. She complained, "Sempai! Why did we have to suddenly come to this island. The Jinchuriki went the other way, what did leader ask you to do?"
She stepped a few steps behind him, her large iron ring slung over her shoulder.

Black flames erupted behind the two, and then formed into the shape of a person. After a few seconds, Sotsu had formed. "Well, I guess you are the two I am supposed to meet? Hello, I am Sotsu Shinigami, and you are? He gestured his hand as if to hurry the two along with their answers. He gazed toward the sky while waiting for their answers, noticing the clear sky and pretty birds flying all around.

gekido looked down at sotsu's hand then back at him " yes we are the ones you are hear to meet, you are being tested so one bad move and your cut. also meaning your blood belongs to me if you fail." gekido looks over and effray'e, "he shall be your opponent test his endurance and how well he can adapt." gekido jumps up onto a large rock looking over the two. "now begin"

Sotsu rolled his eyes at his new leader's words. Yes, I know, so much pressure, test, test, test. He looked at his opponent and back flipped to open their distance. Well? He said to his opponent, wondering if his opponent was game with what their new leader had said. One step closer to revenge, Sotsu said to himself, showing a wicked smile.

Effray'e bowed her head politely at her sempai, she knew she had very little other choice. She looked at the guy across from her and leaned forward, holding her large steel ring around her body. Her stare turned into a glare, "Oi, Sotsu-chan!" She said cockily, "May the most worthy prosper!" she finished with a snicker.
She moved one foot in front of the other and stood straight, her stance looked almost poetic as she span the ring around herself.

Oh boy, this one will be trouble, Sotsu said to himself. He held the release handseal and the ground next to him shook. Black smoke drifted from the ground and then rose a vile looking head, with jagged teeth. The stone was statue of course, made of Stygian ice. In its teeth held Sotsu's scythe. He grabbed it from its jaws and suddenly the head rumbled back down into the earth. He swung the scythe back and forth before finally holding it behind his back, blade pointing down, said to his opponent "Your move".

Effray'e makes a sarcastic sound of awe, before she stops spinning the ring and glares down Sotsu. Her sadistic smile fading quickly, her chakra began to circulate around her hands, mainly her palms.
She lifted her left foot and moved it forward, it padded softly on the dirt as she lifted her right foot and changed her pace from a walk to a jog, to a run, and finally to a sprint.
She left the ground quickly, her body slipping through the center of the ring and leaving it in her right hand, she remained airborne until she was directly in front of Sotsu. She landed gently in front of him and while she inhaled, she swung the ring, which seemed to be thinner.

Sotsu simply watched as the Akatsuki member leaped in front of him, twirling her ring. He noticed the ring had gotten smaller, but he ignored this fact. He simply stated to his opponent "Get out of my face", and with tat, Sotsu swung his scythe as if to cleave the ninja in half in an upward arc.
While he swung his scythe, he surged lightning threw it, that way even if it missed there was a chance the lightning would surge into his opponents body, resulting in a favorable outcome for him. She definitley has a trick up her sleeve, sadly, I can not tell what it is. Let's just wait and see.

Her body bent unimaginably as she dodged the scythe, a grin spanned her face as she stared at Sotsu with blood thirsty eyes. She twisted her spine, almost inhumanly, and swung her metal ring towards Sotsu, the inner blade spinning inside it, cutting her palm sending a jolt of adrenalin through her.
Her mind worked move after move, obviously this boy has some sort of talent or leader would have killed him on the spot, she thought to herself. She examines him, as her ring comes down towards his neck, she would see how he dodged.

Sotsu watched as her body twisted and turned in ways inhumanely possible. She's like rubber, very effective. He noticed that her spinning ring was somehow the source of her power. She spun it in a dazzling style, using it to compliment her fluid movements, and as a distraction. Many normal shinobi would have gotten distracted from the spinning and contours of her body, leading to their demise.
She swung the ring so that it came right above Sotsu's neck. As it came down, he activated stage one of his bloodline, and a black wing of pure chakra extended out of his back, negating her blow completely. His wing covered the side of his body, and with his hand hidden charged up Death's Justice, a sapping version of Raikiri with black lightning. He knocked her ring aside, and thrusted his hand toward her, to punch through her body.

She grunted as she forced her mid-section back and was barely able to avoid the lightning on his hand. She grunted at him as she glared at him. She watched the wing that had burst from behind him, she studied him and then stand stood straight and walk to the left to picked up her ring, her eyes watching him continuously. She bent down to lift her ring, the moment she touched it, it seemed to shrink again. She continued to watch him as she slowly stood straight, pulling her ring up.
She swings her arm back quickly and then slings it forward, although clearly out of range.

Sotsu watched her regain her normal body posture, and as well as regain her ring. Sotsu watched as she threw her ring toward him, although out of range. Sotsu wickedly smiled, and said to her "What would happen if you lost your precious ring?" Sotsu performed some handseals and then raise his hand, palm up above his head.
A basket-ball sized sphere of blackness formed in his hand. It quickly rotated sucking trees and various debris around their battle space. The ring began to wobble in mid-air and began to close in on the sphere faster and faster by the second.

Her grin widdened, she hadn't let go of the ring and she hadn't planned to. Her kekkei genkai activated as the black void above Sotsu began to suck everything into it. The small pieces of metal in the ground bellow rooted her down and her ring expanded widely. The ring expanded at such a rate that it would be difficult to dodge the expanding, large edge.
She panted as she now stood at a shortened size, she was at most half her original size. Her ring was now, much to heavy to be absorbed by the basket ball sized void, and served as an effective wall between Sotsu and herself, as well as a sharp wall of pain.

After his 7-second time limit was up, the jutsu faded away, and the objects absorbed were transported into space. He saw the ring expand to an enormous size, and it flew toward him with great speed. It crashed into his body and dust clouds obstructed his opponents field of vision.
As the dust settled, he was gone. He appeared behind her, and had a white wing of pure chakra extending out of his back. With a slightly sounded PING! He formed chakra in the palm of his hand, acting as a sword, and it was facing up. He stabbed forward as if to stab her body, and was ready to turn it into a combo of using his chakra blade and his scythe in unison against her.

Her eyes widen as she sees Sotsu's shadow on the ground in front of her and her ring. Her mind raced with possible routes of escape and she used the most obvious one. Her kekkei genkai once again activated as she shrunk the metal molecules in the ground and a hole was formed. She sank into it and turned quickly, staring at him, he couldn't notice because of the length of the hold, but she was now twice her original size because of the shrunk metal molecules she had absorbed.
She snaked out of the hole and stood tall, high above Sotsu, also a few feet away. She was begining to understand his fighting style, at least as much as he had shown her, it was a good equal to her own. She reached back and touched her ring with a smile. The giant ring returned to its original size, but she didn't grow, instead the metal focused in her right arm, making it extremely lean (Muscular.) She held the ring in her right hand and watched him, waiting for him to make a move.

Sotsu examined the area as she disappeared from his sight. He felt a cold area and knew it was shade. She had appeared above him and then behind him. He turned to face her and lunged at her. Using both his scythe, chakra blade, and his wings as weapons. he was using combos reaching at least 7 to 8 hits every 5 seconds.
He hypothesized the the ring was definitely her power, but how would he separate the two? He kept striking and if this would not be enough, he would move to his last form of his bloodline, and the most powerful.

She watched as he lashed at her, by taking a step back in this form, she would be able to cover at lot of distance. Her foot lifted off the ground and she stepped back, her large foot kicking up large amounts of dirt. She grins as she lightly places the ring between the two of them and then enlarges it drastically, returning her to her normal form and making a make-shift shield.
She watched him from behind the ring as he swung quickly at her.

"Looks like I will have to step it up a notch", he murmured to himself. He performed 3 handseals quickly and glanced upon her from where he was standing. "See my face and know your death", he said to her, not sure if his Body Implosion jutsu would penetrate her shield.
If this was successful, one of her limbs would be useless, at least for the remainder of the battle, for the jutsu causes necrosis in a limb, which means it dies.

Her eyes widen as she feels a pain in her left arm and then falls to her side limply, she stares as her arm and then at Sotsu, grinding her teeth. With her right hand, she touches the cold iron ring and it shirnks to its normal size, her legs suddenly become large, but only for a second, as she transfers the remaining metal into the ground. She jumps back holding her left arm as metal spikes shoot from the ground towards Sotsu.
She landed a few feet back and with her right arm, pulled her left into her sleeve. This would assure that it would not be a distraction or target for herself or Sotsu. She glared at Sotsu again, she spun the ring in her hand by circulating chakra through it, The ring was slightly smaller then its original size, this caused it to be light enough for her to use with a single hand. She stood her ground, ready to dodge if he used another ocular like jutsu like that again.

Sotsu watched as the metal surged into the ground. "Not again", he said to her "I have learned from this battle, and I know that something will come at the ground toward me". He crouched and spread his black and white wings and then using his strength, leaped into the air. The metal spikes shot up toward him, in just enough time, he was able to get out of their range, however, one managed to cut his pant leg, and also scratched his bare flesh. Blood slowly trickled down his leg.
EH saw her step back and tuck her sleeve in, So I got you... He was pleased that his jutsu could penetrate solid objects. He knew for a fact it could not penetrate chakra directly. He landed softly, using his wings spread out like a parachute. he performed 5 handseals and then a black wave appeared before him. He casted his hand to the side and the wave exploded toward her. The wave disappeared, or so he hoped, she thought.

She smiled as she jumped towards and over him, "I learned something too." Her smile turned into a grin, "You wouldn't use a jutsu just to produce a black wave that disappears almost instantly and doesn't have another effect." She glared at him.
She began to strafe to the left, keeping her disabled arm away from him. "How will you attack next?" She asked him cockily.

He stared at her as his face erupted into a wide, malicious grin. "How about instead of telling you...I show you." He performed a handseal and then black, tendril-like chakra swirled around him. His eyes turned into separate colors. His left eye was pure black, the other was pure white.
"This is my final stage of my power. Now I have the power to cause death in an instant! My eyes are special, so do not underestimate me." He stared at her, and a second later, exploded into another black wave which disappeared in multiple directions. He had disappeared from her view.

She grimaced, If this was the final stage of her power, she might have to use her own 'Final Power'. She clasped her hands together. Flash of silver chakra sparked from her body, as she rooted her feet into the metallic, black dirt. Her eye lids slowly begin to cover her eyes as the buy in front of her exploded into a black wave.
A silver ring of chakra begin to flow around her as she dropped her metal ring to the ground, it began to spin at a faster, and still faster rate until is seemed to not be moving at all. A metallic screech began to echc from the spinning chakra, as the ring closed in on her abdomen.

Sotsu slowly watched from the shadows, hidden in the earth. He watched as she conducted her final ritual, signifying her last stage of power. He slowly rose from the ground, and shade as black as the night spread around him. "Let's test that power of yours", he said to her. His scythe rose into his hand from the ground, and he slashed the shadow. Five skeletons arose, and began to grow skin, and finally, their heads formed, giving the shape and colors of five Anubites(Appearance= ). They snarled and hissed at her, and Sotsu extendedhis hand toward her closed in a fist and opened it. The Anubites charged at her, swinging and attacking as one as Sotsu descended back into the shadows. He watched once again from the shadows as she fought the Anubites, he himself charging up his power. |

She lifted eye lids, widening her light sapphire eyes. The silver ring of chakra expands and splits They rotate around her rapidly as her light sapphire eyes turn a metallic silver. As the said 'Anubites' began to swing at her. She lifted her right hand and tiny, dust sized particles of metal rose from the ground very quickly and began to surround the 'anubites'.
She started to tighten her right hand and all the iron particles began to close in on them, "Préparez-vous, le garçon de bébé. Votre départ sentir mon froid, métal, colère." She said in an alluring voice.

Now that she was distracted, so he had hoped, he moved toward her using the shadows from underground. He got right beneath her before reaching out of the ground, releasing a black sphere of chakra. It exploded then disappeared. He knew she would know what this juttsu was, however, maybe there was a chance he would get her. He smiled wickedly as the Anubites charged wildly at her. He knew they knew no danger, nor would they react to pain. However, they can die just as any mortal could.
Once again, he watched from the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike once again.

Her left arm flails limply as she jumps past the anubites, the metallic colored rings of chakra expanding and threatening to end the beasts. He hair wipes around wildly as the rings exerts chakra.
The rings would act as a kind of shield against the black sphere things and would cut the anubites to bits if it hit them.

Sotsu floated out of the ground behind her, and all at once he ordered the Anubites to surround and attack her. Sotsu took the rear of her body. One they had all surrounded her and her rings they all converged, attacking at once. Sotsu himself slashed with his sword of light and his scythe.
All that was left was to wait and see if her rings could be broken.

Her legs tensed up as the Anubites began to assault her rings, with no favorable out come for Sotsu. She lifted her arms into an x shape, as if guarding herself. She felt her chakra tug as Sotsu's sword and scythe came down on the rings. Her sapphire eyes moved upwards as she glared at him through her blond bangs. Ideas cranked through the machine commonly called the human brain as stared him down. If things remained as they were her rings would disappear and her threshold for attacks would be significantly lowered. She had to get away, a temporary retreat. She looked around, abandoning her glare.
She looked at the enemy Anubites weapons, she was unable to determine if they were metal. She would have to take a chance and hope they were. She clenched her hands into fists. Her rings began to buzz, a mechanical buzz, anything metal that came in contact with her rings would be absorbed.
