Nick-Name: Karasa will usually give strangers the name "Karasu", a more male version of her name, or simply Su. Friends may sometimes know her by Kara, but she hates for her actual name to be used in public.

Physical Description
Hair: Kasu's hair is a messy and ragged mop of black, chopped short to just above her chin. It is sometimes held back by a leather head-band that acts as a sweat-band to keep her hair out of her eyes. This head-band is usually worn during missions.
Eyes: Kasu's eyes a mysterious blue-grey color that are wide-set with a slight slant down-wards. They are a bit square, not as round as most women's eyes are, and they are almost always hidden by the shadow of her face and hair.
Build: Kasu is a bit heavier set than most other women due to her attempts to "beef up" at a younger age in order to hide her obviously woman curves. She isn't fat, but she isn't twig thin like a lot of woman are portrayed to be, and she often has a hard time hiding the fact that she is, indeed, a woman. On her back, between her shoulder-blades, is a black tattoo of a crows foot. Some say she was born with it, while others suggest that a huge storm-crow swooped down and marked her. The more sensible and less superstitious folks simply claim that she probably had it painted on.
Clothing:In order to hide her "womanly assets" Kasu usually wears a very tight wrap of bandages around her chest and often wears a garment similar to a trench-coat. When she dresses right she can easily pass for a feminine looking boy, and this is, in fact, what she tries to do. Being on your own, and being a woman, is often a dangerous thing to reveal to others, but a man on his own is less likely to be bothered on the road. The only jewelery she wears is a small ring-band on her right pinky finger. It is silver with a black crow carved into it.
Weapon of Choice: Kasu carries a BO (large staff) carved out of rich Maple-Wood with small Aquamarine stones seared into the wood near the top. She usually uses it as a walking-stick, but it serves as a good weapon of self-defense. She also carries a Tanto (small knife) on her hip. An assortment of Shuriken and Kunai are also common weapons for Kasu. For hunting she uses a Yumi Bow, which she made herself from the finest bamboo she could find on her travels with hand-carved arrows.

Goals: After betraying herself it has been Kasu's life goal to figure who she really is and what she really wants in life. She doesn't really have any plans for after this, which could lead to some problems in the long-run with her not knowing how to live her life. Right now she mostly sells her skills as a Ninja, a mercenary, and fights for whoever pays her the most.
Fighting Style: Mostly Weapons Taijutsu with a bit of Ninjutsu thrown in. She tends to avoid using Ninjutsu as she ran away at a young age before she could learn to use it properly. What she does know of Ninjutsu is self taught or picked up here and there from others.

Subplot: Plan on having Kasu go from having a pretty firm grasp on who she is and what she's living for, and then have some major event completely shake her belief and faith in everything she knows and holds dear. This will be a very rough time for her, a time where she's likely to go into hiding and have interactions with very few people.
A meaningful event will happen (possibly a child becoming dependent on her for care) however that will begin to open her eyes to the true reality of the world and she will once more try to regain her foot-hold in the mainstream of the world. Maybe take a stand against the akatsuki, or fight against the war-lords who would have once hired her on as a mercenary to help protect children like the one she has under her own care.
In otherwords she's going to go from being a closed off and "manly" type of girl to someone who isn't afraid to show her true colors to the world. What these will be exactly will take time and events in her life to shape.
Hobbies/Funtime: If Kasu is caught with an over-abundance of freetime she will often-times sit down, either in private or a public place, and write poetry or paint. She has a talent for both, though she has never thought of selling her work.
Flaw: Kasu is oftentimes considered cold and heartless when she is usually just doing her job, though her own nature will sometimes get in the way of her job in the worst of times. She will sometimes show compassion when brutality is needed, and oftentimes be overly brutal when compassion and mercy is what is needed. She will often-times say one thing and then later on say something that completely contradicts what she said previously, and then if pointed out she will often-times get angry or upset and blame the person for trying to make her look like an idiot or a hypocrite.

Greatest Accomplishment: Unfortunately Kasu has not done many great deeds in her life. Every mission she finishes is considered an accomplishment, though often-times she grimaces in disgust at the very things she's done.
Greatest Regret: One of Kasu's greatest regrets would have to be her not knowing where she came from. She knows she isn't of Japanaese decent and this often causes conflicts, both with others and with herself.
Skills: Kasu is good at both poetry and painting, she knows how to carve things out of wood and stone and can make decent, but simple, weaponry. She has a good knowledge of the native flora and fauna of Japan and knows a lot when it comes to surviving on your own in the woods. -Chuunin exams were where everything went all wrong. She ended up killing her own team-mates after being paid by another team while under Genjutsu, having been made to think that they were the enemy. She ended up tagging along with the team who paid her, and once she finally graduated the exams did she realize just what exactly she had done. She confused to her murder and then took off. She was never seen again, or at least, not recognized. After this incident she always dressed as a boy and cut her hair. A few people mentioned if she knew Karasa, but she would shake her head and say that she did know of someone in the family by that name, but never knew them personally.
Perhaps some day she'll be able to reveal herself again.
