Decided to try and get active here again, and in the process revamp Hinata. x3 She fits me better now, and I like her better. So feel free to delete her old profile.

Physical Description
Hinata is of average build, not too thin but not overweight either. Her skin is somewhat paler than average, though isn’t “dead” pale. She does have to be careful about being out in the sun for long periods of time though, and must either slather herself in sun-tan lotion or stay in the shade when she feels like she’s starting to burn. Despite this she usually wears shorts and a T-shirt of some sort. The color and pattern of her clothing varies, and she rarely wears the traditional Chuunin uniform. Instead she wears an armband around her left arm with her clan symbol. It’s a relatively simple symbol. At the left of the symbol is a crescent moon that surrounds a full moon. To the right of the full moon is another small sliver of color that looks like a smaller crescent moon. To the right of that is a very thin, triangle shaped line. It stands for her clan’s excellent night vision and their tie with feline-like creatures.
Ever since the Jonin exams her eyes have taken the shape of a cat’s eye, slitted and strange looking, and her canine teeth elongated into tiny fangs.
She doesn’t wear many accessories, save for a hair-scrunchy that keeps her hair tied back and out of the way. She rarely wears it down, though occasionally, including late at night and early in the morning, she’ll allow it to flow free. If she isn’t going anywhere for the day she’ll likely wear it down as well. The color of her hair is a medium-blonde color. She’ll often add highlights to it and dye the ends of her bangs blue, letting them hang free of her pony-tail and to the side of her face. She almost always carries a book around, be it perverted or not, and people who piss her off will usually find them-selves with a welt on their head from being smacked with the book. Books work very well as improvised weapons.
During battle Hinata will wear a pouch with an assortment of Kunai, Shriken, and a few weapon scrolls. She specializes in taijutsu, thus why she carries the scrolls so as to assist her in a fight. However, she has mastered a few Ninjutsu that only those of her clan can use. These attacks are known as the Tiger Whip (Tora Kei), and a powerful combination of fire and chakra attack known as Burning Lions (Nenshou Raion).
She has a few scars, most are insignificant ones from skirmishes that cover her back and upper legs, though she does have a couple that stand out and draw attention. Just below the arm-band on her left arm is a large burn-scar. This one didn’t come from any battles, and she’s a bit embarrassed to talk about the story behind the scar. When she was younger she was being an idiot and decided to play “hot-potato” with an actual baked-potato. She, of course, missed, and it splatted onto her arm, burning it and leaving a permanent scar. It does make for an amusing story to tell once in a while though. Her other attention-grabing scar is centered on her face, and it streaks from the upper right side of her face down to the lower-left, crossing over the bottom corner of her left eye. She came too close to a kunai in the middle of a fight once, and it left her face permanently scared. Fortunately she managed to pull away enough that it didn’t hit her eye and blind her, though it isn’t exactly something that’s pretty. She gets a bit annoyed at people, not understanding why scars on men are seen as “cool”, while when a woman gets a scar on her face many cringe away in pity or disgust.

Personality
Like anyone it’s hard to put Hinata’s personality into words. For starters she is usually a kind and loving person, and will often find herself tied up with so many tasks for others that she doesn’t know what to do. Fortunately it is possible for her to be in many places at once via the use of Kage Bunshin, though she prefers to do things “herself.” When it comes to children she simply cannot say no, unless a yes would endanger their well-being or put them in danger. She might make a good teacher, though despite her love for children she doesn’t have the patience to teach many of them at once. She could handle a small team though, but a full class-room would simply be over-whelming.
Hinata also has a soft-spot for animals, cats in particular, which is no surprise since her “Biju” has the form of a Lion. Whenever she finds an injured, sick, or abandoned animal she can’t help but take it in. So if anyone that lives near her is allergic to animals… they’re probably going to run into allergy issues.
During a fight she’s all business, casting away her normally care-free attitude. However, if fighting an opponent that is obviously weaker than her then she’ll sometimes read her book in the middle of a fight just to piss them off and make things more interesting. If you aren’t careful you may find yourself in the middle of a whip-cream trap during a fight as well, which is just… well… embarrassing to the extreme.

Biju
Seirei Raion (Spirit Lion)
The Seirei Raion is more of a protector, an angel, that a demon that wishes full domination and destruction of the world. It isn’t something that’s unique to Hinata either, as all of her ancestors in her clan contained some sort of spirit beast within them. Their names varied though, and they would often-times have nicknames, like an actual friend or pet would have. The encompassing name of thse guardians are Raion, though the type of feline that the beast forms varies from individual to individual. Hinata’s “Biju” takes on the shape of a Lion, though occasionally she will shrink down to a small cat-like creature, enabling her to sit across Hinata’s shoulders like a scarf. She also goes by the name of Ruion, a variation of “Raion”, which means Lion. Others of Hinata’s clan have had Tigers, Clouded Leopards, Cougars, Jaguars, and other felines as their “Biju’s” form. Depending on the type of cat the nature of their chakra will also differ. Ruion, for example, has a Chakra nature of Fire. Hinata’s chakra nature is also Fire and Wind, though the “Biju” and the “Host’s” chakra natures do not have to be the same. Some may have Fire and Wind, a powerful combination, though others may have a combination such as Fire and Water. Those with opposing Chakra Natures cannot combine their attacks, though they can use them separately in order to confuse their enemies. If a pair has natures of Earth and Water then they would be able to manipulate the Wood element. It also possible for the “Host” to have two Chakra natures of their own, perhaps having Fire and Wind while their “Biju” has a nature completely different, like Earth or Water. The “Bijus”, however, can only possess one Chakra Nature.
Raions usually have a total of three tails, though they may have fewer, or more, though they can never have more than five tails. The more tails they have the more powerful they are, thus Ruion has an average power level for her type of guardian.

Taijutsu and a bit of Ninjutsu

Partnership/Best Friends
History
(I hate these. XP)
-Born into the Amaya Clan, her mother died shortly after child-birth and her father abandoned her mother. The whereabouts of the rest of her clan or if they even exist anymore is unknown.
-Started at Academy.
-She had a stressful Academy life. The other children were afraid of her due to the “Biju” that she was rumored to have. Those that knew of the Amaya clan also knew that the creature in her was not a true “Biju” but the secrets and full-potential of those Guardians were known only to those of the Amaya clan, and Hinata never got a chance to learn those secrets.
-Graduated to Genin.
-Life as a Genin was a bit better than her Academy life, though she had to struggle with controlling Ruion’s powers. Ruion was young at this time as well, so her Chakra had a habit of spiking and over-whelming Hinata at the worst of times. Eventually the pair learned to control their Chakra with each other’s help, though they couldn’t yet use it in Ninjutsu abilities, so as of this time Ruion was not of much help except to offer extra Chakra to supplement Hinata’s Chakra.
-Chuunin Exams
-During the Chuunin exams, and by a stroke of dumb-luck, Hinata managed to create a Ninjutsu of her own. She had accidentally screwed up a Fire Jutsu, using a few wrong signs as she was dazed from Blood-loss. The resulting attack was the devastating “Burning Lions.” The Chakra that was used was not her own though, and so for the first time in her life she managed to directly tap into Ruion’s power.
-Graduated to Chuunin
-Hinata tried to keep her Jutsu “Burning Lions” a secret, but during a mission she had to use it to protect her team once. They were susprised, but grateful. She was discouraged to use this jutsu in missions until she understood it more. So she practiced with the Jonin who had been teaching her and her team since she was a Genin, and she eventually got the technique mastered, though it wasn’t perfect. Her team-leader also helped her to discover another Jutsu of her Clan-line, though this wasn’t as devastating as the “Burning Lions” attack it still came in handy when she found herself out of weapons. This attack was called the “Tiger-Whip”, and it took a lot less time to master than her “Burning Lions” jutsu.
-Jonin Exams (Failed)
-Hinata advanced quickly, excelling at everything her team-leader threw at her. Eventually she was ready for the Jonin exams, even before her other team-members. She failed. It wasn’t that she was worse than the other competitors in the exam; in fact it was the exact opposite. A horrible thing happened, something that almost put Hinata under lock-and-chains. Somehow a child had gotten into the area that the Jonin exams were being held, and in mistake another team had slain the child, thinking it was one of their opponents using a Jutsu to hide themselves. Hinata saw the entire thing, from the cowering frightened eyes of an innocent child to the cackling glee of her killer.
Hinata went berserk. She called upon Ruion’s Chakra, though without restraint, and it quickly consumed her, turning her into a beast nearly as fearsome as the Kyuubi Cloak. With this newfound power she slaughtered the group of five that had killed the child, mutilating their bodies beyond physical recognition and pinning them aginst trees with stakes through their limbs. One of the Examiners happened to be watching the scene, though he could nothing to help, lest he be killed himself. A group of Anbu was sent to restrain her, though by the time they got there Hinata was already herself, though beaten and battered from the powerful Chakra. She was found cradling the dead girl in her arms in the center of the carnage. She managed to convince them and the Hokage to give her another chance. She had been completely unaware of this horrifying and overwhelming power, and that she would train to contain it should a situation like this ever happen again.
-Joining Hakumei
-The Hokage finally caved to her requests, though they sent her away to Hakumei. She was very… rebellious at first… though she soon grew used to the people there. To this day she struggles to grasp Ruion’s power, though the Spirit Lion does what she can to help. Together they hope to discover new secrets about their Clan, and new Jutsus to use. Hopefully the next time the Jonin exams come around she'll be able to pass with flying colors.
