Original Show Gen-Jutsu
Bringer-of-Darkness Crusher
the uses does a set of hand signs which blinds the opponent to make sure the enemy cannot see them. the uses then punches them repeatedly.
Demon Flute: Phantom Sound Chains
Using her flute, Tayuya creates the illusion that her opponent is in a never-ending room of bones. They are bound by wires that hang from the ceiling, restricting their movement. Soon after, their flesh will begin to melt away from their bones, causing great pain and horror to the target.
Demonic Illusion: Burning Paper Body
This genjutsu requires the Sharingan and eye contact to be activated. The illusion traps the victim in a dark empty space where their body is made of paper that burns from toe to head while the user is watching. The purpose of this jutsu is to use the target's vision of their new form to reduce their dexterity, making it harder for the victim to battle or perform hand seals.
Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution
Ino creates an illusion in which countless butterflies surround the enemy. The enemy sinks into the ground, giving Ino the chance to place an exploding tag on their face before cutting off the illusion, revealing that all the butterflies were exploding tags that all detonate alongside the original.
Demonic Illusion: Descending Hell Technique
This jutsu causes the illusion of a tremendous ball of fire falling from the sky into a designated area. Anyone in the area will instinctively flee.
Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels the first illusion, they will not realize that a second is in place.
Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique
This jutsu changes the appearance of a nearby object or area in order to disorient the opponent.
Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Kurenai traps the opponent in a flower bud and explodes it in a flowery release.
Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique
This jutsu causes the target to see a horrifying vision. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. When used on Sakura, she sees a vision of a dying and mutilated Sasuke, causing her to scream and faint.
Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change
Using the Sharingan's jutsu-copying abilities, the user can turn any genjutsu back onto its original user.
Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes
The genjutsu prevents the Sharingan user's mind from being taken over by an opponent. The opponent is pierced and immobilized by illusory yokes, making it an effective means for torture and interrogation. Also, this jutsu has the blood-red appearance of the background similar to Tsukuyomi but the user and the victim do not appear in a grayscale, inverted color. It has only been used twice, by Itachi and Sasuke Uchiha both in response to Orochimaru's Living Corpse Reincarnation.
Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Singing
This sound-based genjutsu is used by both Fukasaku and Shima. It is said to be the most powerful genjutsu in Fukasaku and Shima's arsenal. It is immensely powerful as seen by the ability to kill three of Pain's bodies at once. Since it is sound-based, it attacks the opponent's sense of hearing and can capture multiple opponents at the same time. After Shima and Fukasaku synchronize melodies, those opponents that hear it are left completely paralyzed. Once trapped, the opponents are imprisoned in an illusionary cube of water that is guarded by four toad samurai. The opponents' bodies are left unable to move at all and can freely be attacked by the users or their allies. Despite its great power, it takes some time for Shima and Fukasaku to synchronize melodies, and since it uses sound, it gives away their location, allowing opponents to attack them while it is being prepared. It also makes Shima and Fukasaku's throats dry, meaning it cannot be used repeatedly.
Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
With this jutsu, the user can make themselves disappear, allowing them to approach their target unnoticed. Once completed, a tree and roots will grow at the target's feet and restrict their movements. Once the opponent believes that they are captured, the user can then appear above their opponent from the tree's trunk and kill the target.
Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death Explosion
After using Demonic Illusion: Tree Bind Death, the tree that trapped the opponent explodes.
Ephemeral
Itachi activates this technique by simply pointing at his target. Crows flock from Itachi and turn into shuriken that bombard the opponent. They then experience the sensation of their body parts turning into their closest friends.
Dusk Crow Genjutsu
This unknown genjutsu can trap a victim in an illusion with no eye contact, similar to Ephemeral. The genjutsu traps the victim in a torrent of crows, leaving them at the user's mercy.
Flower Ninja Art: Maximum Cutting
The user will cast an illusion which surrounds the target in flower petals and darken the surroundings around them.
Genjutsu Binding
As the name suggests, the user binds the opponent in a genjutsu, rendering them incapable of movement. As Tsunade demonstrates when facing the Legendary Stupid Brothers, this genjutsu can be used on more than one target at the same time. Once the target is bound, the user or an ally can rush up to the enemy, able to easily deliver a devastating killing blow.
Genjutsu Shiranui
This jutsu causes the opponent to see six copies of the user that all detonate simultaneously.
Genjutsu: Flower Petal Escape
When trapped inside of a genjutsu or wishing to appear trapped, Kurenai uses this jutsu to dissolve her body into many flower petals which then consume her enemy's body.
Genjutsu: Tree Binding Flying Swallow Death
Kurenai Yūhi uses her Demonic Illusion: Tree Bind Death to ensnare the enemy with an image of a tree; Asuma Sarutobi then finishes them with his Flying Swallow.
Illusion Bell Needles
Kin uses this technique with the bells that she attaches to her Senbon. The bells ring at a certain frequency, which directly affects the brain. This causes her target to see multiple copies of herself, making it impossible to tell the real one from the illusions. Additionally, the target loses their motor skills with continued exposure to the ringing. This technique is normally used after she distracts the enemy with Shadow Senbon Technique.
Illusion Technique: Mist
Kurenai creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals.
Illusionary Mist
The Three-Tailed Giant Turtle releases a mist created by its chakra to put intruders under an illusion. The illusion torments the target with events from their past. The illusion will vanish if the victim can break the illusion, either by themselves of with the assistance of another.
Kakkō's Interrogation Genjutsu
Kakko uses this genjutsu to break the will of his (captured) target, to make him or her give as much as possible information. Either way, if the target has strong will (like Rin) the technique will be useless
Kamina's Genjutsu
With this unnamed Genjutsu (though it is unknown whether or not it is a true Genjutsu, considering neither Haido or his Knights knew what chakra was), Kamina causes the area around the target to be enveloped by darkness. Once inside the black space, the target will see grotesque figures (which are thought to be the previous victims of the technique). These figures then grab the target and pull them into the void where they are at the mercy of a spectral dragon. The horrifying oni can even extend from the target's own body to attack them. All of these creatures can transfix the victim with fear and shock while Kamina will personally choke and kill the target.
Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar
This genjutsu blinds the enemy with an extremely bright light that appears to emanate from the user. A secondary genjutsu can then be used, such as an illusion of the Fourth Raikage smashing the enemy into the ground.
Mangekyō Shark Sword
Itachi uses his Mangekyō Sharingan on the opponent to trap them inside the Tsukuyomi, then comes walking up behind the opponent and stabs them in the back. Left open to attack, Kisame comes up from the water below to finish the foe with a slash from his Samehada.
Mist Servant Technique
This genjutsu creates clones that phase in and out of the ground as if they were made of a blackish, oil-like liquid. When attacked, the clones regenerate themselves. The clones can be controlled to make it seem as if they're throwing kunai. The user can then time their attacks with those of the clones.
Ninja Art: Profusion of Flowers
Ino casts an illusion that tricks the enemy, causing them to see a storm of flowers. This jutsu has different variations ranging from a field of flowing petals to an overflow of petals surrounding the enemy. Once Ino has spotted the enemy with a clear shot, she throws a Wolf Bane, a flower filled with poison in the stem, and gets the enemy in the head, resulting to a very slow but painful death.
Ninja Art: Snow Cherry Blossom Dance
Sakura binds her enemy in a genjutsu and proceeds to throw four small white bags at them filled with exploding tags, which are disguised as tiny, blank pieces of paper in the enemy's eyes. She rips them open in midair by throwing kunai at them and the exploding tags begin to fall gently towards the target. Lastly, Sakura aims a kunai with a final exploding tag attached to it at her opponent's feet and it detonates, followed by the explosion of the other falling "tags". There is a huge blast, and the enemy is either killed or severely damaged.
Offsetting Sound
Playing a melody on his ocarina, Menma releases the genjutsu his family member Shiin uses.
One With the Tree
Kurenai uses a Genjutsu wherein she disappears and a tree grows around the opponent, binding them. Kurenai then comes out of the tree and strikes the opponents neck, causing the tree to explode and the opponent to faint.
Piercing Feathers Illusion
This Genjutsu pierces the enemy's body with large illusionary black feathers, rendering them paralyzed. It's very similar to Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes, but it's not limited to protect the mind of the Sharingan user.
Poison Moth Genjutsu
Fuen first uses poison that is thin and tiny enough to be taken in the air. Her target will inhale the poison and start to see the things that Fuen chooses, like caves, moths, or allies of the target trying to kill the target. When her target is imprisoned in her genjutsu, Fuen charges and kills her target. Sakura Haruno was able to create an antidote for the technique, allowing her to defeat Fuen.
Sly Mind Affect Technique
This jutsu causes the enemy to walk around in circles for hours by making it seem as if they're walking straight to their desired destination. The enemy eventually becomes exhausted after traveling the same path over and over.
Soulbane
This is a powerful genjutsu known to be forbidden among the Konohagakure ninja. It is a genjutsu that targets the mind and causes the target to believe that anyone is a foe. While under the effects of the genjutsu, anyone affected will attack those who they believe to be enemies, even their closest friends. They will act completely coherent, however, almost as if it is of their own volition, but they will not listen to reason. Once defeated, they return to normal with no memory of the events. A more powerful version was cast on Konoha's ninja through the use of barriers set up and maintained at four points, two of which were protected by ninja who were under the effects of the genjutsu themselves. This more potent version could not be dispelled by normal means; only by killing the original caster could it be stopped.
String Bean Binding Illusion
First, the user will disappear as with Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death, then the target will see several bean vines growing from the ground. These vines will bind the victims body, lifting them into the air. Then, a bean pod will raise and open to reveal the user, ready to strike. However, a skilled Genjutsu user like Kurenai Yuhi can revert the effects to the user. This technique is typical among the members of the Kurama clan.
Temple of Nirvana Technique
This jutsu causes everyone within a specific area to fall into a deep sleep. From the target's point of view, it seems as if feathers are falling from the sky, which serves as a distraction to allow the jutsu to take effect. The downside, however, is that any experienced ninja have more than enough time to dispel it.
Time Reversal Technique
This technique puts the target in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not. The target will comply with interrogation, but seems to retain his or her personality while under hypnosis. For example, when the ANBU used this technique to bring back Naruto's memories about his conversations with Gennō, Naruto was more specific about the ramen he shared with the old man rather than their conversations, which the ANBU were asking about.
The technique was also used, without success, by an unnamed medical-nin to attempt to reverse Menma's amnesia. Menma's memories eventually returned without the aid of the Time Reversal Technique after the Konoha hospital was struck by lightning.
Tyrant's Calling
This jutsu enables the user to make a image of themselves in the skies of a village or country or more to send a message.
Bringer-of-Darkness Crusher
the uses does a set of hand signs which blinds the opponent to make sure the enemy cannot see them. the uses then punches them repeatedly.
