KITTEN (Open)

[Selena]

"NO! Wait! Come back here!" The sound of objects falling to the floor and shattering echoed throughout the compound, followed by the frantic cries of a certain girl. "Get back here! No don't... AGH!" Hinata hoped to god that no one was going to walk in on her while she was chasing the creature that was making the mess.

"GET BACK HERE YA LITTLE TWERP!" Thud. Said "twerp" ran beneath Hinata's feet and tripped her, sending her crashing to the ground. Then the "twerp" darted beneath a chair, fluffed up to twice it's size, and let out a spunky little hiss. The hiss sounded more like it had something stuck in it's throat and was giving off a series of "Kkk" in an attempt to rebuttal Hinata's attempts to catch it.

"OOOO! You were so well behaved outside!" She lay on the floor for a moment, staring at the fluffy creature. "You know you look absolutely hilarious all puffed up like that." It made no reply, simply huddled beneath the chair and mewed pitifully. "Oh come now. I'm not gonna hurt you, you silly cat."

The cat, or kitten to be more correct, let out a hiss when Hinata moved and pressed itself up against the leg of the chair. It glared and growled deep in its throat, obviously not going to be caught by the frustrated girl.

Hinata spared herself a glance around the room and winced. Boy was she gonna be in trouble. Hopefully she could catch the little squirt before anyone noticed. As if that was possible. The noise had surely alerted someone.

Rygo was on his daily searching. Just to find stuff to do when he heard a few loud crashing sounds a few miles away. Rygo then raced to see what all the fuss was turns out it was in the Hakumei Sedai Base. Rygo said, "Of course it has to be in this base." Rygo then did a dig jutsu making him go through the ground, and appear on the other side of the gate. Rygo looked back, and said, "Well there is no turning back now." Rygo then went into the base, and was searching for where all the crashing was going on when he saw a girl laying on the ground in a room.

[Selena]

Hinata was, of course, shocked to see someone that obviously didn't belong here simply walk in. She blinked at the man a few times, and then shrieked in surprise. "EEEEEEEEEEEE!" She flailed and sprang up before dive bombing the kitten beneath chair. The kitten, surprised by the shriek and the new arrival, couldn't react in time to avoid the dive bomb and was promptly caught. As it was held tightly against Hinata's chest it couldn't help but glare death at Rygo, as if saying that it was his fault it had been caught.

Once the kitten was safely gathered up Hinata sprang backwards behind the couch, and the cat-form of Ruion materialized on the couch and let out a hiss louder than it should be for something of that size. "Miyako! Or somebody! Your ability to guard this place sucks horribly!" Well if no one inside had heard the crashing, they would have surely heard her now.

She yelped when the kitten in her arms suddenly sunk its little fangs into her hand and dropped it. Taking its chance to escape the little calico kitten darted between Rygo's legs, and if he wasn't careful he'd probably fall flat on his butt. "Agh! Not again! Stupid cats!" She got a hiss from Ruion and she flinched. "Uh...Not you Ruion."

Rygo looked back at the cat that ran under his legs. Rygo then looked back at the girl on the couch, and said, "Well I agree his organization does have terrible alarms in here, but ok my guess is you aren't use to new people, so well glad to meet who ever you are, and your little friend, and don't worry I'm not in Akasuki if that what your thinking." "I'm just a guy that doesn't belong to any origanization, but I am a deserter who doesn't like origaniztions."

[Selena]

Hinata remained behind the couch as Ruion began to stalk around the man, sniffing and lashing her three tails. "Hmmn..." She peered closely at him, tightening her circle every time she made a full circle. And then, she lunged! With a hungry growl the chakra cat clung to Rygo's leg, dug a paw into his pocket, and pulled out a cookie! "Cookie! I has it now! It's mine!"

With a childish giggle the feline skittered away, cookie held tightly in her mouth. She then hid beneath the chair the kitten was under and quickly devoured the cookie. How a chakra cat could eat was beyond Hinata, but she didn't argue with what was obviously happening.

"The cookie is mine and you can not have it.!" Hinata's eye twitched and she simply stared at Ruion. Before long Ruion was leaning against Rygo, using her legs to prop herself up against him. She pawed at his pocket at the same time. "More cookies?"

"Well some Demon you are." Hinata got a glare in return and then Ruion went back to pawing for more cookies.

Rygo said, "Well looks like your cat found the cookies I bought." Rygo then pulled out a bag of cookies. The bag holding atleast 15 to 20 cookies. Rygo said, "Here you go." Rygo then set the cookies down near the Ruion. Rygo said, "So girl whats your name also what are you doing out here with these people."

[Selena]

Ruion simply stared wide eyed at the bag of cookies and snatched it away from Rygo before he had fully set the bag down. She then clawed the bag open and devoured the cookies as fast as she could. She then gazed up at Rygo, tongue swiping around her mouth. "I proclaim you the cookie god! And no one but me can touch the cookie God!" Looking very pleased with herself Ruion meowed a rather strange meow then wriggled before pouncing on Rygo's shoe.

"You got into the catnip again didn't you?" Hinata sighed and shook her head. "She can be so childish sometimes."

"Am not!"

Hinata found it best not to argue. "I go by Hinata. And the leader recruited me a while ago." She pointed at the Ruion. "Because of that little creature that is currently attacking your shoe."

Rygo laughed. An saw a familiar sign on Hinata's headband, and said, "Is that the Leaf Village symbol!" Rygo said in amazement as he saw the headband. Rygo then thought of his cousin Shang that he still never saw after he went searching for him.

[Selena]

Hinata tensed with Rygo mentioned her headband and she glanced down at Ruion and then the kitten. "Eh. Yea. Why do you mention it?" She tilted her head curiously, but was still a bit wary. Thinking back to Konoha brought back memories of people staring at her like she was a monster, and she closed her eyes in an attempt to get rid of them. "It's my hometown." She shifted some and looked away. "Where I got her." She nodded towards Ruion then cleared her throat. "Yea. Well. I should probably clean up after that kitten."

Rygo said, "Umm didn't mean to bring you down I was just thinking of how my cusin was born there I didn't mean to bring up bad things of your past." Rygo then thought to him self, ""Dang Rygo now look what you did now you brought bad memories back to this girl." Rygo felt bad for himself, and decided to stop talking about the topic.

[uzumakiuchiha]

Miyako walked into the room, a drink in his hand. "Hey Rygo. come to join us finally?" he walked sat on the couch and turned on the tv.

[Selena]

Hinata shrugged and then suddenly tensed when Miyako walked in and sat on the couch. She hoped to god that he didn't see the mess that the kitten had made, or the kitten. However, unfortunately for her said kitten stalked over to the couch and began to claw at the arm of it. "Noooo! Don't do thaaaaat!" She quickly snatched the kitten up, bopped it on the head, and then shoved it in her pouch, leaving enough room for it to poke its head out and nothing more. Mew...Hiiiisssssss

Hinata simply glared down at it, glanced around the room, then paled and began to edge away. "Well uh... Since you two seem to know each other I'll uh... get going..." She was probably going to be made to clean up the mess anyways, but better later than now.

Rygo said, "Well Miyako I was just coming here to see what all the noise was." "I'm not here to join I don't like joining origanization's, and also sorry for coming into your base with out asking first."

Miyako turned back to Rygo. "figured as much. not a problem though. as long as you're not akatsuki, everyone's welcome." he turned to Hinata. "the kitten....stays....with me." he got up and grabbed the kitten out of the pouch and sat down on the couch, petting it happily.

[Selena]

When Miyako stole the kitten from her Hinata paled. She stood there for a moment and then she launched herself at Miyako, snatching the kitten from him in the process. "It's MY KITTEN!" She growled protectively and held it close her chest. "You cannot have it. I found it, so it's mine." She then took off running for her room. "MINE I SAY!" Her tone was... well, actually pissed. Ruion simply watched, amused.

"I advise not taking her kitten." The demon seemed to have calmed from her previous cookie act and sat down, tail curling around herself. "She's extremely protective of animals she finds..." Ruion was silent for a moment. "It reminds her of the fox she used to have. Hunters were always trying to take it from her and kill it..." She gave Miyako a hard look. "She isn't afraid to hurt you if you try to take the kitten from her again."

Miyako stayed on the couch for a moment, his eye twitching. he got up and walked to Hinata's door. he stood there for a second indecisivley. he rose his hand to knock gently but stopped and shook his head. he made a fist and punched the door down. He stalked into the room and grabbed the kitten again, and disappeared, but not before shooting Hinata a death glare. "MY FUZZY!"

[Selena]

Hinata yelped in surprise when her door was suddenly busted off the hinges, and when the kitten was stolen yet again her face twisted into a snarl. "BASTARD!" He had just, well, poofed! Finding no other way to rant she stalked to Miyako's room, literally ripped the door off the hinges, and then threw it to the other side of the room. Without even stopping to look and see if he was in there she continued to the opposite wall. She stood there for a moment, snarled in frustration, and let a punch fly.

The wall, of course, was no longer a wall. It was more like a giant, gaping hole. With a satisfied smirk she then studied the room, looking for something else she could trash. She was going to teach him a lesson. What was hers was hers, and he was NOT allowed to touch her stuff. Otherwise his stuff would be trashed. "Ya know I've got a good mind to go back to Konoha Miyako! Perhaps even tell Akatsuki where all the entrances to this place are!" Of course she wouldn't really tell them that, but she felt like spooking him.

"Or perhaps I'll just tear this place down, one wall at a time for them." It didn't take long for the dresser to be rendered to a pile of wooden planks, boards, and nails, and whatever items that were sitting on top of it were sure to be broken now. Satisfied with her work she then stalked out of the room, making sure to rip a chunk out of the wall as she moved through the door-way. "Have fun cleaning up ya jerk."

Having nothing in her room that was really hers she stalked towards the exit door. "Bye" He probably couldn't hear her, but that didn't stop her from walking out the door.

-a small tan kitfox would here a ruckus and fallow the noise to its source leading her to a building she sniffed at it an her tail swayed carelessly back and forth as she pawed at the door-

Kinzakura stepped in front of Hinata. "You're leaving huh? because of that kitten thing with Miyako?" She shook her head. "He Has certain....social issues. i dont know how much he's told you about his past. but you have to try and understand, he was never taught anything except ninja techniques. he wasnt raised at all except to become a killing machine by his uncle. except for his fighting abilities, he's basically a kid still." She sighed and closed her eyes. "At least think about that before you decide to go. " She walked past Hinata. "and if you do decide to go, you do realize you would be a liability to us." she stepped into the house and went into her room.

[Selena]

Hinata simply glared at the woman the entire time. "I really don't care about his past right now. What did he do, send you to try to make things better? Typical guy. Afraid to talk themselves so they send someone else to do it for them." When the woman started to walk away she snorted. "You'll all like everybody else. That's all I am. A Liability right? Something to be used and then thrown away." She huffed. "All Miyako ever wanted was Ruion. He could care less if I was a different person. He's no different than anybody else." She really didn't care if he was listening, because she believed what she said and felt it to be true.

"And if his past really was that bad you would think he'd have grown up by now." Ruion appeared around her neck, lounging there and watching Kinzakura. She was silent, both in mind and body.

As she stood there, she felt something warm on her back. the kitten crawled down her shoulder mewing. Miyako stood there glaring down at her. "apparantly, you cant take a joke very well." he walked down the hallway to his room. he made a handsign and the door dissapeared. a moment later another door appeared. "at least i had my genjutsu set up." he turned back to her "and you're right. at first all i wanted was Ruion. Think about it, why would i want some nameless chunin from the leaf village?" he sighed. "but, after having you around, and training you for a while, i realize you have potential."

[Selena]

Hinata quickly snatched the kitten and held it tightly against her chest in a way that would prevent others from taking it. She returned Miyako's glare coldly. "A joke? People have always wanted to take what few things I have away from me. I thought you were different." She continued to glare even when he was done speaking. "Potential? Potential for what? To kill? I hate killing." She clung to the kitten in her arms, looking as if she was about to break down.

"For once in my life I want someone that cares for me because of me. Not because of some stupid demon." She felt Ruion glare but knew the cat wouldn't take it to heart. "The only things that have done that are animals. And every time someone tries to take them away." She hissed at Miyako then brushed past him, intent on locking herself in the bathroom for who knows how long.

"But everyone in this world are cruel and heartless. And yet I keep giving people chances."

Rygo would stand in the living room watching, and listening to all the comotion going on. Rygo thought, ""Well ain't this just one big happy family."" Rygo then chuckled a little. Rygo then sat on the couch just thinking about how his family gets along.
