Misa is a white clay cat made from the hands of Deidara and his claymaking skills. She looks and feels like a regular housecat, but is a ninja cat as well. Similar to the relationship between Kiba and Akamaru, Misa can copy and work with any jutsu her owner performs, without being told what it will be. She posesses the same kekkei genkai as her owner, and can use it in the same fashion.
She talks in the form of thoughts, and only with her owner and his/her teammates.
