Banshō Ten'in (万象天引)
Banshō Ten'in is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it manipulates gravity at the users will, however instead of pushing objects away, it draws them close. It is unknown if it can be used in a similar scale as Shinra Tensei or if it has the same five second limit.
Chakra Disruption Blades
The Chakra Disruption Blades are blades made of the chakra receivers used by Nagato. Concealed in the cloaks of each path, Pain can use these blades to disrupt the chakra of his victim, injuring them or rendering them incapable to move. When a victim is stabbed by the blades, the Rinnegan eyes appear in their mind, suggesting that Nagato has some degree of influence over them, similar to how he controls the Six Paths. Out of the all the Six Paths, the Deva path has the most use for the blades. Nagato, due to him being immobile, can fire his chakra disruption blades from his mechanical seat.
Chibaku Tensei (地爆天星)
Using Deva path, Nagato creates a dark black sphere of gravity that is thrown into the sky. The surrounding earth, including forests and mountains, is collected into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a large sphere. A large crater is left where the earth was collected from. Pain notes that the Sage of the Six Paths had mastered this technique to an extent that he created the moon itself, and that his version paled in comparison to it. Despite its admitted inferiority, it was still strong enough to both hold out against Naruto's Six-Tailed Fox Menacing Ball and incapacitate Naruto and trap him in his six-tailed transformation. Although, it failed to contain Naruto when he slipped into his eight-tailed transformation. The Deva path must be brought within close range of Nagato before it can use the technique, and performing it puts a great strain on Nagato.
Fierce Raining at Will (雨虎自在の術, Ukojizai no Jutsu)
With this jutsu, Pain can blanket a wide area with a downpour of rain. He can maintain a connection to the rain and tell when someone is obstructing it. This also allows him to detect the individual's chakra level and skill, thus making a powerful ninja's infiltration of Amegakure an impossible task. Pain makes it rain every week on Sunday, except when he has important matters to attend to outside the village.
Five Seals Barrier (五封結界, Gofū Kekkai)
This technique creates a barrier around a place by placing four "Forbidden" (禁, kin) tags around a fifth. The only way to remove the barrier is by removing all five tags simultaneously. Not only would this require a group of at least five people, it also requires an immense search, since the four tags can be scattered in any direction, as far as 800 meters from the fifth seal. This makes breaking through this barrier almost impossible.Even if the barrier is broken, there is a final obstacle. The Mirrored Sudden Attacker Technique will create perfect copies of those who have removed the seal, preventing them from returning immediately.
Flaming Arrow of Amazing Ability (怪腕ノ火矢, Kaiwan no Hiya)
The Asura path detachs and fire its hand like a rocket. Upon focusing chakra to the wrist, the hand will be launched towards the target. This chakra will also act like a magnet, to draw the hand back for reattachment. The chakra also functions to protect the hand, allowing its powerful strike to severely damage rock, but not the hand itself.
Sealing Technique: Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals (封印術・幻龍九封尽, Fūinjutsu: Genryū Kyū Fūjin
This jutsu is used by Pain and the other members of Akatsuki to forcibly drain the spirit and chakra of the Tailed Beasts from their still-living Jinchūriki, then seal it in what appears to be the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. The jutsu takes three full days to complete if nine of the Akatsuki members are present. Kisame Hoshigaki comments that it "takes longer without Orochimaru". Zetsu also claimed that with so few people left to perform the jutsu, it would take a while.[2]
To prepare for the jutsu, Pain summons the sealing statue and each member stands on one of its fingers, corresponding to their specific ring finger. When performed, this jutsu causes the bit to fall out of the mouth of the statue. Each of the Akatsuki members concentrates, causing the kanji of their rings to appear on the nail of the finger they're standing on. Nine dragon-like effigies then pour from the statue's mouth, surround the captured host, and remove the Tailed Beast from them (the process seems quite agonizing to the host). In the case of an unsealed Tailed Beast, the same thing happens to the beast itself, and still takes as much time as if it were sealed. After the process is complete, the beast is sealed within the statue, and one of the statue's nine eyes opens. The host then dies because of the removal of their Tailed Beast. The beasts must be sealed in a specific order with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox being sealed last, or the statue would shatter.[3]
Apparently, it seems that the rest of Akatsuki can still perform this jutsu, even without Pain being present.[2] However, with Nagato now dead, Madara claimed that they need a new pawn to synchronize with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in order to seal the Eight and Nine Tailed Beasts.[4]
King of Hell
King of Hell is a technique that summons a giant demonic figure with the apparent use of interrogation. It is capable of discerning whether an individual is lying or not. When implemented on a target, a serpent-like apparition emerges from their mouth and it is consumed by the figure. If they are lying (or refuse to answer the question), their life force energy is taken and they die. If the target is telling the truth, they don't die, though they're left extremely exhausted. When the Naraka path uses this technique, the figure possesses the Rinnegan eyes similar to how the Animal path's summons all possess the Rinnegan. The King of Hell can only be seen by the ones it's being used upon.
As a secondary ability, the King of Hell can restore the bodies of whatever it eats. When it consumed the remains of the Asura path, the Path emerged from the figure fully restored and is even wearing new Akatsuki robe (the body had discarded its previous robe). Once Naraka path uses this technique, he needs time to recharge and possibly cannot use King of Hell at all. While the King of Hell is being used for revival purposes, it seems that others are able to see it, unlike when it is being used for interrogation purpose. However, it was Naruto in Sage Mode that was able to see it, so it is possible that normal people cannot, even for revival.
The King of Hell can be summoned when the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique is used, where Nagato can release the souls of people who were recently killed.
Magic Lantern Body Technique (幻灯身の術, Gentōshin no Jutsu)
With this technique, Pain can convene the members of Akatsuki, even while the various members are in completely different parts of the world. The individual members sit down and turn their thought waves into chakra. These thought waves are then received by Pain, amplified, and then broadcast through virtual images of the respective members. This allows them to have conversations and perform the Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals.
These virtual images look like the member they represent, only standing up with their hands in a seal. The images are also transparent, save for the eyes. In the anime, the images are depicted refracting an array of spectral colors, much like a rainbow. When speaking, their voices and bodies will also distort and flicker, as if receiving electronic interference. These virtual images are not simple reflections of the members, though, as the members can still use varying jutsu while Pain is relaying their thoughts.
Mirrored Sudden Attacker Technique (鏡面襲者の術, Kyōmen Shūja no Jutsu)
This technique is automatically activated when the "Forbidden" (禁, kin) tags creating the Five Seals Barrier are removed. An exact copy of the person who removed the tag will appear from the nearby ground and attack. From appearance to battle skill, everything is copied perfectly. The only difference is that the copy has a fixed amount of stamina, giving it an advantage in a drawn-out battle.
Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique (外道・輪廻天生の術, Gedō: Rinne Tensei no Jutsu)
By summoning the King of Hell, Nagato can release the souls of those recently killed, bringing them back to life. The jutsu targets all souls killed, even those not necessarily killed by the Six Paths of Pain, such is the case with Kakashi Hatake who died from overuse of chakra. There also seems to be a time limit to when this technique can be used, as Nagato can only use it in a area where he is stationed nearby and not in far-off places. However this technique requires a massive amount of chakra, due to which it resulted in Nagato's death due to chakra overuse. Also, Nagato became severely weakened, and his hair became increasingly thinner and grayer during his use of the technique.
Blocking Technique Absorption Seal (封術吸印, Fūjutsu Kyūin)
A highly advanced sealing technique that is capable of absorbing any chakra, regardless of any spacial or nature transformation, and dispersing it within one's body by spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction. As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu technique, regardless of power, without harming the user.
This technique also has an offensive use. Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them (a la the Chakra Absorption Technique).
Shapeshifting Technique (象転の術, Shōten no Jutsu)
This technique allows Pain to turn a human sacrifice into an exact copy of someone else, with all of their abilities, weapons, strength, memories, and personality. The original can control the copy remotely until the copy is killed, at which point the copy returns to their original appearance. The original must give a percentage of their chakra to the copy when it is created, and are then limited by that amount when the copy uses jutsu. This technique was used on Yura and Mukade and transformed them into Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki respectively.
Shinra Tensei (神羅天征)
Shinra Tensei is the ability to manipulate gravity to repulse matter away from the user, with such force that it can easily shatter stone. By using this technique as a defensive measure, most, if not all, attacks directed to the user will be deflected, no matter the size or mass. The only downside to this technique is that there is a short period when it is unusable after being used, though only for roughly five seconds. If one is sufficiently rooted to the ground, the repulsive forces can be resisted.
Shinra Tensei can also be used on a large scale for massive destruction. Before it can be used, Nagato must break his connection with all but the Deva path (presumably to channel all available chakra through it). A massive gravity well is created above the target, crushing everything beneath in a titanic explosion. Using it on this scale shorten Nagato's lifespan and leaves him unable to use the Deva path for several minutes.
Six Paths of Pain (ペイン六道, Pein Rikudō)
The Six Paths of Pain was a jutsu used by Nagato, and served as his representation in his group, Akatsuki.
This jutsu was, by far, Nagato's most powerful and most-used technique. It allowed Nagato to control six separate bodies as though they were his own. Each of these bodies were reanimated corpses that were both kept mobile by, and made use of Nagato's chakra. While controlling them, Nagato used the alias "Pain", yet still regarded them as separate from himself.[1] All the six paths were eventually destroyed by Naruto Uzumaki during the Invasion of Pain arc
Soul Removal
After the Human path is done reading a target's mind, it apparently rips the victim's consciousness (i.e. soul) out of them, killing them
Summoning: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path (口寄せ・外道魔像, Kuchiyose: Gedō Mazō)
Nagato summons a giant statue that releases multiple chakra rods from its abdomen that pierce Nagato's back. When the rods are in place, Nagato uses the statue to spew a dragon-like creature from its mouth, which removes the souls of any person it comes in contact with. After serving its purpose, the chakra rods break off and remain embedded in Nagato's back while the statue disappears. The technique seems to take a considerable toll on Nagato, who becomes more and more emaciated for the duration of the technique. This began the moment the chakra rods penetrate his body.
This statue is later used for the Sealing Technique: Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals, which is to seal the nine tailed beasts. When used for this purpose, the statue has an added blindfold, a bit in its mouth, and shackles on its arms. As Nagato is now dead, Madara Uchiha claimed that they needed a new pawn to synchronize with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
Banshō Ten'in is a technique similar to Shinra Tensei in that it manipulates gravity at the users will, however instead of pushing objects away, it draws them close. It is unknown if it can be used in a similar scale as Shinra Tensei or if it has the same five second limit.
