Onikaru's eyes thinned, as she spoke and another growl broke from him, causing more nature to wilt away around them. Reizo moved out behind the tree and spoke, "Onikaru.... not that I want to help the enemy... but if you want the dark haired girl to live, you have to get her to somewhere she can be healed, immediately." Onikaru's head jerked back as Reizo spoke, " 'the hell do you know about helping friends!?" He roared angrily. They were right though... it was the only, and slim at that, chance that Ryuu would live. He had gone to long without moving or fighting, his adrenaline fueled hate fell and the black energy began to dissipate, returning Onikaru to his normal state. He breathed in heavily as he fell to his knees, he was confident that Reizo and the bird girl were in no shape to attack him now. He stood slowly, blood was running from his ears, eyes, nose and mouth, even from under his finger tips. He backed up, not taking his eyes off the bird girl, "You... Just like you did to Ryuu... the next time I sense you, I will go out of my way, regardless my goal. And I will kill you." He threatened, his body shaking a bit.

Minzuri had been able to work her way to Ryuu and had put bandage over her stomach wound.

Karasu returned his cold gaze, and nothing more. Her singed body was screaming out in pain. She felt ridiculous the way she was tangled in the branches. The continued to stare him down, understanding that they would have to square off again, eventually. Finally, she nodded just once. "Until that day, then," she said solemnly.

Onikaru turned, casting the two of them, Reizo and the bird girl, one final glance. He saw Minzuri crouching over Ryuu and he moved into a quick jog until he reached them, "Minzuri-chan, How is she?" He asked, hopping that she wouldn't be to bad. He had almost completely forgotten about their new teammate that they had hide in a bush before encountering those two.

Minzuri looked up at Onikaru, flinching a bit, as if scared, "K-karu... She... she substained heavy internal damage, I can't tell if it's to late, but she still has a pulse... a weak one..." She said in a soft, weak voice.

Reizo watched as Onikaru left and quickly moved to Karasu, "Damn... that was unexpected..." He said, offering her his one hand to her in an attempt to help her up, "Kara-Kara, I think we should get out of here..." He said slowly.

Karasu took it without much hesitation, with her good arm. Her skin was badly burned. Her gaze went to his missing arm, and she said, "Good idea.. We gave them a chance, now here's ours.." She stood, with Reizo's help, and looked at her burned body. Muttering under her breath, she was joined by Kurai. Her good arm then proceeded to hold her right side, just under her arm, where the attack took most of its toll. "Let's.. Let's go, then."

Reizo nodded, giving one last glance to Onikaru, before moving into a quick sprint deciding it be best to get away quickly. He expected Kara-Kara to follow him, regardless of how much pain she was. He quickly stepped over a downed tree and into the darkness cast by the forest.

Onikaru reached down towards Ryuu, past Minzuri, and slowly lifted her off the ground and moved her onto his back. "Come on Minzuri. We gotta find someone who can help her, now!" He said in a demanding tone that surprised Minzuri a bit, she wasn't used to seeing him panic yet, it seemed strange to her.

Karasu sighed a little, and made a mad dash after Reizo Kurai was knocked off balance by the sudden burst, but he regained his position. He was astounded at how she was able to suppress her expression of the pain she was in. Her skin was burning so badly, but she decided to brush it off until she was able to rest. she remained a few paces behind him, wondering when she'd meet the Dark Prince again.
