His eyes watched the cobalt blue, foam from the sea being picked up by the wind and being sprayed against his face. His gaze, however, remained locked on the sea, his eyes not leaving the sea. He was remembering his little step brother, Uchiha Onikaru. He smiled, was coming... or soon would be. A wicked grin spread across his face and he laughed to himself. He stopped abruptly and moved his hands into a mesh on his lap, his face calm and his expression blank. The shooting star insignia on his vest shined in the sun light as his green eyes remained glued on the sea. His red-ish orange hair was slicked back and his face was rather long.

Karasu eyed the ocean with deep violet eyes, not entirely focused on the issue at hand. Kurai, her raven, took to the sky to find something to eat, and she uneasily awaited his return. She always hated when he had to take off. She feld naked without him perched on her shoulder. She heard a fierce cry, and from the clouds came Kurai, a fish in his talons. Karasu smiled, and held out her arm. Kurai landed on in carefully, transfering the fish to his beak. He crawled up Karasu's arm, and perched on her shoulder, holding the fish out to her. She shook her head, and then looked at Reizo with her cool, purple eyes, waiting.

Reizo smiled as the silence was suddenly shattered by the screech of a bird a large bird, a large black bird. A raven. He eyed, thinking of things his, now forbidden, blood jutsu could do to the beast, but he held himself back and laid back and looked behind him. Karasu. Another member of the Hakumei Seidei. He smiled at her, his smile was not friendly, it didn't even seem real, but that was as real as it got for him; his eyes, however, remained cold. He shouted out loudly, "Hey there Kara-kara." He said, pet naming her on the spot, a quirk of his. "What are you doing out here?" He asked her, his friendly tone obviously fake, as he wanted.

"Cut the friendly bull-shit, Reizo," she said quietly, "You know why I'm here." Her eyes drifted over to his, meeting them, and regarding them with a coldness. "The only reason we aren't killing each other is because we both want the same thing, so why try to mask, huh?" She said no more, but joined his side, keeping a comfortable distance away. Only when she looked at Kurai did her expression soften.

"Oh, Kara-Kara doesn't wanta be my friend?" He sat up as she joined at his side, "I don't know... I've killed people who want the same thing as me." He leaned towards the girl, a sick grin spread across his face, "Don't worry though Kara-Kara..." He snickered abit, "I would never hurt you, your my friend." Before she could anwser he through his body back and laughed uncontrollably, "Being friends, with a normal person is one thing, but someone as cold and Bitchy as you is gonna be real fun!" He sat up, breathing heavily, "Thanks for that." He made a babyish face and leaned towards her again, "Kara-Kara-onii-chan" He said in a baby voice before setting back and smirking at her.

"Hmph," was the only thing that came out of her lips for a few moments. She was having a mental conversation with Kurai-- about how difficult this might be. Kurai thought Reizo was a psychopath. Karasu agreed. She figured she'd have to get used to the degrading pet names whilst traveling with him. She looked at Reizo again, no emotion in her cold purple eyes. "You're lucky I like you," she said quietly, "Or this would be very difficult for both of us.." Slowly, her eyes turned away from his, and stared at the ocean.

His face was suddenly calm, almost cold, "Is that so Karasu..." He said, his pet names gone and his seeming craziness gone almost immediately. He perched himself on his arms and glared out at the ocean, "Your mistaken... Not liking me would make your future much easier. I hope that was a flat-out lie, or I suggest that you change quick... or you'll only have difficulties..." He eyed the girl quickly. It seemed he was trying to convey anger but nothing resulted from him. "So your my partner... too bad... you remind me of how HE used to be..." He stood up quickly and turned from the sea, "We should get going..."

She peered at him through silky white hair, her eyes offering no explaination, or answers. She watched him stand, and completely ignored his previous statements. "Very well, then, let's be off." Kurai looked around with his sharp eyes, feeding to Karasu any interesting details he found. Karasu processed them most carefully-- anything Kurai had to was was important to her. She turned her head to face the bird, and she smoothed the feathers on his neck and wings.

He laughed out loud as she agreed to come along. "Kara-kara, hurry up then!" He said as he began to walk quickly along the rocky shore of the sea, stepping carefully onto and over large rocks. He suddenly stopped, his eyes darting upwards towards the tree line in the distance. A kunai slipped out of his sleeve and into his right hand, he glared off into the trees. It soon became obvious what he was looking at; a small white rabbit sat just past the tree line, it stood on hind-legs and was grooming itself.
A wicked smile covered Reizo's face as the kunai dug into his wrist, easily cutting into him, a stream of blood pouring down his wrist, onto his palm and dripping off his knuckles, He quickly preformed a hand sign and the blood began to vibrate, it soon began to levitate off the boy's arm and formed a spike, or perhaps arrow like shape in the air. The arrow aimed itself at the rabbit, at the rabbits legs that is. He smiled and looked over at his partner, "Always good for lunch, no?"

"Hit it in the eye, that way the meat won't spoil from bruising." Karasu said, staring idly at the rabbit. Her family was taught to respect all forms of animals, but she only had an affinity with ravens. Though, she did thank the rabbit in her mind for being the one chosen to nourish the two. Meanwhile, Kurai moved to her other shoulder. He felt rather uncomfortable to witness Reizo cutting himself open. Karasu stroked the bird's head, soothing him.

He chuckled at his partner, "Obviously, you've never witnessed blood style nin-jutsu Kara-Kara" The arrow hurled itself at the rabbit. However, moments before it his the creature, it slowed, almost to a stop. It pricked the rabbit's foot, hardly causing a trickle of blood to pour from it's new injury. The rabbit turned to hope away right aftter Reizo's hand's clasped together. "Blood Pulse Jutsu!" He shouted as the rabbit halted. It seemed frozen in space, as if it was dead standing up. He smiled and unclasped his hands and looked at Karasu. "See, foot."

"Huh." Karasu went ahead, and picked the rabbit up by its feet. She gave it a good shake to make sure it was really dead. It lay in her hand, limp and warm. "Impressive, Reizo-san.." she said, adressing her new partner with some respect. She held out the rabbit, and Kurai eyed it with interest. He was hungry, too.

Reizo lifted his arm, as he was about to boast and react to her respectful comment, he looked at the bird eying the rabbit and snickered, "Hey, maybe we can eat feathers here too." He grined and leaned towards her shoulder, towards Kurai with an obvious look of 'intent-to-kill' in his eyes glued to the bird.

Karasu gave Reizo a death glare as she threw the rabbit into his chest with full force. Her eyes darkened instantly, and she turned away so quickly, Kurai almost lost balance. He squaked, and looked at Reizo as Karasu stormed off away from him. Kurai's highly intellegent eyes examined Reizo. Karasu was fuming. she swing her arm at a tree, and from her sleeve flew seven large red-eyed ravens, killing every living animal in sight. She kept walking.

Reizo smiled as he caught the rabbit against his chest and jumped a little, surprised by her reaction. He dropped the rabbit on the ground and watched after her as she stormed off, his eyes glued to the raven's own eyes, he frowned at the bird and his pupils shrunk. That bird... it had the same look in it's eyes as HIM, that time. His arm shook a bit in a fit of rage, "Karu..." He whispered to himself as he glared at the ravens.

When Karasu was out of earshot, she stopped walking. "Can you beleive that guy, Kuri-kun?!" By now the ravens had faded into the trees, doing their own thing before the dissipated. Kurai looked at Karasu, and agreed, but also suggested that she calm down. That she was over-reacting. Karasu sighed. "But.. he.." She sat down against a tree, and stared solemnly into the distance. "He threatened to kill you.. and EAT you.." The bird nuzzled her cheek, and assured her that Reizo was trying to ruffle some feathers (no pun intended) and that he was rather crazy to begin with. Karasu sighed, and shook her head. She didn't move.

Reizo stormed, that damn birds eyes had made him furious. He threw his arm out, the kunai in his sleeve plummeting out, the rope that tied it to his wrist and stopped it from flying in the distance. He pulled it back and grasped it in his hand and drove it into his wrist, blood pouring down his wrist and covering his hand. The blood became solid and formed a spike on his hand. He walked to a tree and assaulted it with the blade, causing large chips in it. He continued to stab the tree, until it was noticeably leaning. The blood loss had made him calm down quicker. He slumped to the ground and hugged his knees, his eyes foggy

Karasu, now cooled off, sighed. She was always so suprised how easily she could let things go, but Kurai was releived. She stood up, and looked around. She walked bacl, slowly this time, examining the carnage from her sudden anger. There was blood, and its of animals strewn everywhere. She felt a little bad for taking her anger out on nature. She approached Reizo, but said nothing. She was averting her eyes as well.

He looked at her as she came back, unlike her, not adverting his eyes from her. He wanted to stand up, but blood was still pouring from his wrist and had created an impressive puddle around him. He took his hands off his knees and simply stared at her, "Kara-Kara..." He said to her, "Glad to see you've calmed down..." He looked at the rabbit, whose's fur was now stained red by Reizo's blood.

"Reizo.." She said, looking at the large puddle, "Why did you do that?" She knelt beside him, her unfeeling eyes glancing at his wrist. She carefully reached into her kimono, and pulled out a roll of bandage. She took his wrist carefully with her other hand, and applied pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding. She wrapped it carefully with the bandage.

He flinched quickly as she grabbed his wrist, he pulled his hand back but not enough to remove it from her grasp. He stared at her with wide eyes, "W-what...are you doing? He said, voice unnaturally shaky, He stared at the ivory haired girl and then his eyes shut, "What is it..." He said, looking at her through fierce, yet foggy eyes, "What do you want from me women!" He said, almost shouted.

Karasu let go of his wrist when she was finished. "To help you," was her response. She sat down, but at a distance. She stared at all of the blood, realizing the drawbacks of Blood Jutsu. "We'll rest here until you can walk. Then we'll continue," she said quietly. she stared off into nothing in particular.

He looked at her through widened eyes, "Yeah..." He said slowly, "BUT WHY!" He shouted loud enough to cause an echo to run through the forest. He looked at her as the blood around him began to ripple as Reizo's chakra fluctuated, he stared at her, "Kasai..." he mouthed slowly, "She helped me too, and I killed..." He glared at her, "Don't toy with me bird girl...." His voice was shaky with instability.

"What, you expect me to want something in return?" she scoffed. Her tone remained rather monotone and expressionless. "If you want it in black and white, we're partners and I refuse to let you go on fatigued or injured. If plan on continuing now, and passing out due to all of the blood you lost, don't count on me carrying you. Got that?" Karasu looked at him, her violet eyes showing no emotion in particlular. That was the most she'd spoken to another person in a long time, and she felt rather uneasy.

He stared at her, and dropped his legs, crossing them. He looked at her, the blood around him calming. "Fine... but in return...you will be treated in a similar way if the time ever arises..." He said. He grinned, "Kara-Kara..." He said, not saying anything more. He looked at the bird on her shoulder and scoffed. "Tell me Kara... You have a kekkei genkai... that's why you carry feathers with you. Right?"

"Yes," she said quietly, "The Balanced Hand, common amoung the Yamochi clan. But I was a different case, they can work with all animals. I can only work with ravens. Kurai-kun, here is a part of me. He is my ally, my weapon.. Without him I would be incomplete." She looked at Reizo, then away. "Also, the violet eyes. That's a mark of the Yamochi clan."

He looked at her eyes as she mentioned them and blinked, "Reminds me of my step-fathers hair..." He said suddenly and then stood up slowly, his head still light from blood lose. He coiled and uncoiled his hand that was now bandaged and looked off into the distance, "Kara-kara..." He said, "We should probably be head back to base... Kaseo will probably want to brief us on our next mission..." He said slowly, showing he had a mutual respect for this Kaseo individual, "You... you haven't met Kaseo yet, have you?"

Karasu stood up as well. A man with purple hair?.. she shook her head to herself. Kurai was thinking the same thing. To Reizo's question, she responded, "I haven't met this person yet. Is he the leader?" She looked off into the distance. "If you're feeling well, we can leave, but I don't expect to stop if you slow us down any." She wasn't meaning to be rude, simply blunt. If anyone knew Karasu well, they'd know she was trying to be humorous. Kurai ruffled his feathers, something equivalent to shaking a head.

Reizo shook his head, "No... Kaseo's not leader... but he's been in the Seidei longer then our leader... he's our oldest member." He started to walk on and ignored her supposedly humorous comment. He was begining to feel more like himself, now that his blood was returning to him, "So Kara-Kara; What's your sob story? Everyone has one now-a-day's" he said looking at her with an empty expression.

Karasu regarded him with blank, purple eyes-- her gaze almost as distant as his. In an even more unfeeling voice, she said, "I don't have one." She caught up to him, and walked at his side, staring ahead. She really didn't have one, though. She just left because she no longer knew how to act around people anymore. Also, she needed something better-suited to her ability.
