Shang meets someone new. (Shang and Rinko.)

[leeshao]

Shang, "Yeah." Shang jumps into the air, and yells, "HAAAAA!!!" As he flies at a tree kicking it as cuts all around it, and it flies into the air, and drops infront of him. Shang, "Wooo that was good... now let's see you?"

[Rinko]

Rinko's shoulders slump in a comical manner. Her eyes widen and her jaw drops. "S-see m-me?.. I..I don't know If I can..." she shakes her head, and looks at the tree. "You took down a tree! With a single kick! I'd break my ankle.. Urgh, I guess I got lazy with my training.." Rinko falls to her knees in shock of what she just saw and stares at the tree.

[leeshao]

Shang, "I really didn't mean to acctually break it, but all I want to see is how much damage you can do to the tree... if it cut some bark off... well that should be good, and also kicking the tree a few times would be good also... didnt mean to freak you out." Shang then looks at the tree she was in front of. Shang, "Don't think of it as big thing to get down in one blow think of it as a makeshift training punching and kicking bag, but instead in a forest."

[Rinko]

Rinko, with her jaw still open, nodded slowly. "O-okay.. Damage to the tree. Right. "Rinko nodded again, this time more sure of herself. She stands up and walks over the the tree nearest to her. "So.. Do I just.. Punch it?.. Or.. Kick it?.. Rinko felt uncomfortable with this.. she'd never raelly done it before. She was sure her arm strength was just fine, but against a tree.. Hm..

[leeshao]

Shang, "It's okay it's not going to make you bleed if it does well... I'll get it back for you." Shang then looks at his leg. Shang then looks back up, "Don't worry if you only want to punch it once go ahead, but not we can move onto the next stage where we run and clash fists, but I'll let you run, and I'll stand there to take the punch on the fist... because if I do the run punch to... I think I might see you fly back, but I'll get you if that happens." Shang then looks at the tree shes at.

[Rinko]

Rinko stood at the tree, a dark determination crossing her face. She decided she would punch the tree instead of kicking it. Her legs were weak. She got into her still readied stance, her knees bent for stability. She leveled her fist with the center of the tree. She pulled back her fist, and hit the tree right on. Her face ctinged in slight pain, and she closed her eyes. She heard cracking, and her eyes opened, seeing that the tree had a crack in the middle. Right where she hit. Her fist was twitching from the impact. Rinko's eyes widened in shock.

[leeshao]

Shang runs over, and grabs her fist. Shang, "That was good... that was good... oh and you put a dent in it... good." Shang then looks at her. Shang, "Now we should try the running punch."

[Rinko]

Rinko looks at Shang's hand around her fist. "A running punch.. From where? And with the same fist?.." Rinko's fist was still shaking from the mass impact. Rinko looked at shang, waiting for her mess of questions to be answered. She was still in shock from seeing what she did to the tree.

[leeshao]

Shang, "I know it sucks the first time, but it'll get better, and you will want to punch tree more then once." Shang then examines her hand again. Shang, "Yeah this isn't good, but I with stood the pain because... well the only reason is I knew I had to be stronger then my brother to win, so I kept hitting the tree day in, and day out then a year later I got to the point where that happened to the tree." As Shang points to the tree on the ground. Shang, "And yeah your fist is bleeding to much to do another punch, so I sujust you use your other hand." Shang then pulls out some bandages, and cleans her fist, and then wraps her fist in the bandages. Shang, "There... hope it feels better." Shang then looks over in two directions.

[Rinko]

Rinko smiles at Shang as he applies the bandages. "Good thing both of my hands are the same, then." with her right hand still trembling, she walks away from her tree, turns and faces it. She clenches her left fist, eyeing her target: the crack in the tree. She steadies her stance. She, then takes off and speeds for the tree, shrouding her in dust. A Crack can be heard, and so can a soft yelp. The dust clears away from Rinko as she's holding her left fist. The crack ing the tree has grown considerably.

[leeshao]

Shang, "I ment run, and punch my fist, but that'll do I guess." Shang then walks over to her again with the bandages, and helps her with her other fist. Shang, "Look don't run in to do something just yet until your told to do, so... some ninja's like myself have did that, and I got payback for it." Shang then finsihes wrapping her other hand. Shang, "Now sense your fists are out of commission... you just do a few more push ups, and we'll be going unless you want to do one more thing before we go?"

[Rinko]

"Heh.... Oops.." Rinko smiled nervously as she sits down to do more push-ups. Trembling as she steadies herself on her injured fists, she mentally prepares herself for another hundred. Sweating and panting with strain she says, "Heh.. At least I.. Managed to.. Crack the tree some.." Rinko continues to do push-ups as blood seeps through her bandages. She things, "I hope he has a lot of those bandages.. Who knows how much I'll need after today.."

[leeshao]

Shang, "Good keep up the good work." Shang tells her with enthusiasm. Shang then looks through the mountains as he thinks to himself. ""My first student this will be fun."" Shang then talks, "I see your still bleeding from your hands... don't worry we'll have to take off those, and clean them... then we'll re-rap them in new bandages, and be on your way to the adventure."

[Rinko]

After a while, Rinko finishes her push-ups. Trembling, she plops on the ground. "Th-thanks.. I'll need them re-wrapped several times, I think.." Rinko put her face to the ground and closed her eyes. "Just wake me up when I'm more powerful," she said playfully. She could already tell the road was long. She already had a goal. To prove she wasn't the runt. To prove she was capable of power, so that she could make her family pay for leaving her just because she was born weak.

Shang bends down, and pulls out some bandages. Shang, "Well you mind if I unwrap them, and clean your hands... then put new ones on?" Shang then looks at her, and says, "Also it's not like magic to make you become powerful, but after a few days of healing you should start to feel a little different." Shang then looks at her hands. Shang, "Yeah, you do have a lot of spunk..., and spunk you'll need for the next steps of training after you heal... we'll continue."

[Rinko]

Rinko holds out her hands to be bandaged. They still trembled at blood dripped from the saturated bandages. "You think I broke my hand?.." she asked quietly as the looked at Shang. Her vision blurred, and she tightly clsed her eyes, not wanting to get a close look at her hands.

[leeshao]

Shang then unwraps her hands, and examines them. Shang, "I may not be a doctor, but I can try." Shang then activates his byakugan, and looks at her hands. Shang, "Well as far as I can see you only have a few broken fingers, and the rest of your hands are just perfect." Shang then gets a water bottle, and a rag, and pours the water on the rag. Shang, "This may hurt a little, so just stay calm." As Shang goes to dab her hands with the rag.

[Rinko]

Rinko grimaces in pain, closing her eyes tightly. "Ow! ow ow ow!" Her fingers clenched to repel the pain, but that only hurt more, so she loosened them and let Shang clean her hands. "Only a few broken fingers, huh? Well, that's not so bad.. I guess it could be wrose, but hey, I'll break all the boens I have in order to prome my family wrong." She clenches her fist, despaite the pain.

[leeshao]

Shang keeps dabbing, and says, "Yeah your lucky for only breaking a few." Shang then finishes dabbing them, and looks at them one last time. Shang, "Hope you don't mind if I exercise them... if you know what I mean by that?"

[Rinko]

Rinko looks at him, curious. "Tell me what that means, please. " She flinches as he dabs one her her broken fingers. "Does it have anything to do with moving them around?" She asked slowly. Rinko watched Shang as he treated her fingers. "I broke my figners on my frist day of training," she thought to herself, "I'm going to have to work a lot harder than I have ever dreamed of in order to get stronger.."

[leeshao]

Shang, "Sadly it does mean you have to move your fingers, but we won't exercise them much." Shang then pulls lightly on one of them. Shang, "We'll test each one once to how much they hurt... if they hurt a lot we won't pull them out as far." Shang keeps doing it carefully each time.

[Rinko]

Rinko flinches as her non-broken fingers get pulled. When her broken ones are, she lets out a short yelp of pain. "Ah! Jeez, I forogt how much broken bones suck!" She watched Shang pull on her fingers carefully. "So.. what does this do? Just measures the extent of the break, or something?" Rinko was no med professional, but she understood a few things about medicine and healing. Her "aunt" was a healer.

[leeshao]

Shang, "Yeah it does tell me how much your fingers are broken, and see how long they have to heal, and trust me I'm no medical ninja etheir, but I learned from a few people how to check wounds with out help of healing the wounds or not, but the only medical help I really have is my Byakkugan." Shang then finishes the exercise, and says, "Well we're ready to rewrap them."

[Rinko]

Rinko nods, still holding her hands out says, "Well, its good taht we know a little about medical treatment. One thing I know is to change bandages on wounds regularly in order to prevent infection.." She shrugs. "I guess I owe a little to my aunt.. I guess if you ever get hurt, I could help you out." rinko smiles as goes to to nday, "Like how you're helping me out.. you know?"

[leeshao]

Shang, "Yeah that would be nice, so it's a trade off... I help you... you help me... that sounds like a excellent idea." Shang smiles back at her as he pulls the bandages off the roll, and starts wrapping her hands again. Shang, "Also after I do this we should get started on traveling or we can rest here then tommarow we head out?"

[Rinko]

"Hmm.." Says Rinko, "Let's just head out.. If I keep moving and rest tomorrow, I won't be as exhausted.. Plus, if I stay mobile.." she shrugs, "I dunno. It'll be easier, I guess." She watches Shang bandage her hands. "I'll be able to walk, but I guess my arms will be a little.. sore." She clenches her fists again to test them, flinching as each one exerts its own pain

Shang finishes wrapping her hands, and gets up. Shang says, "There... there all wrapped, and we can get a move on to the docks in the the lightning village." Shang then looks at her. Shang, "Because we're going to the other continent, and explore there a little while."

[Rinko]

Rinko nods, loving that she'll be able to travel again. "This should be fun," as she gripped the strap of her pack. She grimaced from the pain, but tightened her grip anyhow. Grunting, she threw the pack over her shoulder, and slung her arm through the other strap. "This may prove to be a tab bit irritating.." She mumbled to herself as she readied herself to start walking. "Well, I'm ready when you are, Shang." Rinko looked at him, thankful that he was here to tend to her injuries. If she were training like that alone, it would be even more of a pain.

[leeshao]

Shang, "Awsome... I'm ready." As Shang points in the direction of a path to the Lightning Village. Shang says, "To the Lightning Village!!" As Shang starts walking on the path slow enough for her to catch up, and wait for her to get up to speed with him, and they can begin walking normally.

[Rinko]

Rinko jogs a few steps and walks along Shang's right side. "This is awesome! I'm so excited!," Rinko exclaims, temporarily forgetting her pains. "I've wanted to travel for a long time.. to a foreign place, you know? And now I finally get to! Yes!" Rinko grinned happily ahead, also making sure she wouldn't trip over anything...again. Still staring at the ground she says more to herself, but still audible, "This is the best time I've had.. Even though my hand may be broken."
